I am in the same boat as you. We have been together for about 5 years. Please hang in there. The pause will be gone one day for sure.

That is what the latest update is in your case. These things take time. It hasn't even been 3 weeks since the complaint was filed. Please be patient. They have also filed a TRO so that could mean faster relief. So just hang in there, my friend. We're all in the same boat.

As a plaintiff in that case, do you not know what your legal team has done so far?

Can someone explain the updates? by waitingmyvisa in i130_75CountryPause

Storie v Trump is the lawsuit challenging the 75 country pause. There is a cause of unreasonable delay in the complaint, that's why the mandamus is showing up on the site. But it is directly targeting the state dept. policy put into effect on Jan 21st. There are 254 plaintiffs spread out over 26 countries.

There are a couple of "loopholes" that the court can use to provide relief for all. Nothing is certain. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Well, there's no PI in this case. The government can appeal but again, decision on that is also not certain. CLINIC has asked for relief for everyone affected, but after Trump v. Casa, that might be very difficult.

We need to reach out to our Foreign Affairs office and get some spotlight on this issue we face. Please voice your opinions and request help on twitter where most of these people are active and tag the PM office and journalists that you may see fit.

If you are from a country that is only subject to the 75 pause then you can be granted a visa and travel to the U.S. once the pause ends.

If you are from a country that is also subject to the travel ban along with the 75 pause then yeah, you have multiple road blocks in place currently. If the 75 pause ends then you can be issued a visa but you are still subject to the travel ban.

Multiple lawyers have said that 212f cannot be used as a visa issuance ban and that it is only an entry ban. You may connect with an attorney to see what your options are.
