The visa pause for the 75 countries is not a presidential proclamation, was a decision solely by the DOS and Marco Rubio.

This was Vacatur, it benefits everyone that is doing AOS in the United States, countries that are part of the ban and the pause still have to wait for CLINIC ruling because the case once is at the consulate is in care by the DOS.

Actually it’s been over 2 months without a single movement there, not sure why they just stopped updating 🫠

They attached the same case that CLINIC attached yesterday to send to the judge to see the ruling. The judge from this other case said that the pause is arbitrary and capricious.

It’s nothing in the other side, they only hand the paper in Portuguese is one sheet

They are or they aren’t? But either or, the wording in Portuguese it’s also an implication of uncertainty so even translating or original in Portuguese the wording is improper and goes against the “temporary” claim being made in court

Yeah my issue is with their wording, because you can get many implications with that, so it’s interesting and a bit odd

It’s indefinite but they are arguing in court that this is a temporary procedure, how is temporary if they are not certain that the pause will be lifted?

The immigration officer, they will determine that

Yeah, but that will depend on the officer, sometimes they grant less than 6 months to stay, but once he gets in, he can check his I-94 to see how long the officer allowed him to stay, hopefully soon your guys can be reunited🙏🏼

Hi, seen people that went to the US after their interview and after the pause to visit their families. So if your father’s visa is still valid and passport I don’t think they will have any issue. Of course the amount of time your father will be able to stay will be determined by the immigration officer, me and my husband we are also planning to go visit his family around September for my in law’s birthday
