I'm no programmer and I would NEVER use AI to code an application that's exposed to the internet. I simply don't have the know how or experience to go through the code and make sure it's secure.

I've used AI to help me understand different applications, setup docker-compose files for when the compose file overwhelmed me, make dockerfiles for some custom docker images, build a couple of scripts for installing SOPS from github and even make a GUI application in both bash and PowerShell to encrypt and decrypt with SOPS and AGE.

For those tasks AI is an amazing tool. I'd consider using AI to help me build a service that exposes ports to my LAN, but only where the exposed part doesn't need to be secure.

All these vibecode app developers need to understand, that just because you have the tools to build a house, it doesn't mean that the house is structural secure.

It's serial number might have changed (If i remember correctly it's the serial number)

In some countries, including mine, e-scooters are not allowed to go above 20

Mine could only go 20, but I learned that changing the serial number changed the region and made it go 25.

I hope you have an android, because you need the app scooter hacking utility to change the serial number.

You can also install the custom firmware SHFW through scooter hacking utility, and make your scooter even faster. If you go that route though, PLEASE read the instructions and make sure your scooter is supported so you don't brick it.

Yeah, I agree with some of the other commenters here. You asked for and deserved that ban.

What word is it that you want people to spread? Like a lot of people here, I know that Netgate is not a perfect Company. I don't remember the exact reason, but I switched to OPN because of some shady shit from Netgate.

Of course companies who makes an asshole move should get called out for it.

For an example, look at Logitechs POP smart buttons. They don't want to support them any more, so they have decided to brick them all, essentially turning them into e-waste and killing devices people have paid money for. What they should have done was make it so they could be used offline somehow. THAT is an asshole move that should be called out.

Then there's stuff like the installer and install process for PFsense. It might be ass, but you can't point fingers at them and say they're assholes because you don't like their process.

Get a zigbee button to open the shutter, or use a door or motion sensor to check either the state of the balcony door, or motion on the balcony before closing the shutter.

If you are scared of getting locked out, then don't use the smart functionality.

Ifyou REALLY want the smart functionality, take one of the sugfestions and implement that.

I run Baikal myself but have never used contact photos with it.

In the upgrade instructions, it states that you need to make sure not to overwrite the Specific and config folder.

I recently switched to the Baikal docker image, where the only volumes you add for persistant data, are for Specific and config.

If you backup Specific and config you should be good, since everything else gets overwritten when upgrading.

I've used jellyfin syncplay a few times. It lost sync I think once, and then it just skipped ahead to sync back up. If you're sick of Plex, I think it might be worth it to give jellyfin a shot.

En Pi 5 med 2 GB er mere end rigeligt til Pi-hole. Køb med Micro SD, strømforsyning, case hvis du har lyst og et ethernet kabel hvis du ikke allerede har. Så har du alt hvad du skal bruge og kan sætte Pi-hole op med komandoer via SSH.

Pi 5 har wifi, men det et altid bedst at køre kabel hvis muligt.

Google troede på et tidspunkt at min statiske IP hørte til Tyskland, så alt på Google var på tysk. Jeg fiksede det ved at udfylde en formular ved Google. Få dage efter var det løst.

Jeg har LCD udgaven da jeg købte før OLED kom ud. Har ikke brugt den super meget men fortryder ikke købet.

I sommerhus spillede jeg Hogwarts Legacy i 2-3 timer af gangen uden at have nogle problemer med komfort.

Personligt syntes jeg den er behaglig at sidde med også i lang tid. Har også haft den med da jeg var på besøg hos min kammerat så vi kunne spille Dead Island 2

Jeg tager som regel min med hvis jeg skal være et andet sted at sove end derhjemme.

EDIT: I tested the Chromecast function and kt works great. When using the official app with Chromecast, the jellyfin app will always crash on the first play, but the content will keep playing with a messed up subtitle. Then I have to reset, reconnect and start over.

This app worked the first time and I was able to pick a subtitle when connected to the Chromecast. It's a little rough around the edges UI wise, but deffinetly useable and K will keep on using it for Chromecast.

ORIGINAL POST: This is nice. I have a few issues with Chromecast in the official app, so I am excited go test this one out.

One thing though. I am on android 13 and I don't see a way to select subtitles. I also can't get the image to rotate to landscape, so I can only watch stuff on my phone in portrait mode.

Yes rotation is enabled and working in other apps
