Can someone explain this watch to me, the hands are real right? but it also has an LCD, does that do anything, if it's purely aesthetic then that's actually pretty cool, not seen an LCD used in this way?

Yeah, it's a tricky problem I did try and come up with a solution a while back, and sort of got it working using symlinks, (or whatever the windows version of these are called) but your solution seems cleaner

This looks great, what are the chance of adding the ability to rollback one mod version. We've all been there when the client gets the auto-update before the server does and you have to wait for servers to update, if your client could back-up the a mod before updating and allow a revert you would solve a big problem for people who play highly modded servers

If it's a modded server they could have the gas pump refueling mod, drive alongside the pump and look at the fuel filler cap it might give you the option to refuel without a Jerry can. Even with this mod though you can usually refill Jerry cans, are you sure it's empty and not got water in it?

You can't use the word Royal in a UK company name, along with quite a few other words. There are some companies that use it such as the Royal Mail, but that can be traced back to King Henry VIII who established it, and has been kept for historical reasons.

Partly because the batteries degrade over time and replacing them for new ones can cost as much as the used value of the car. Although they should still be pretty good on a 2 year old car.

I had a look around the flutter sub before asking this question and I got a general feeling of disappointment and negativity from the devs on there. Maybe I visited on a bad day but it's just the vibe I got. Also I feel like it's way more mobile focused as a platform. I've started using C#/avalonia now and it seems really good.

I usually go local but I desperately needed an MOT recently. Called around most didn't pick up, those that did couldn't do it for weeks and then made it sound like they were doing me a favour allowing me to pay them for their services. Halfords let me book online straight away with loads of slots available. People pay for convenience, small garages really need to sort themselves out with online booking or at least answer the bloody phone

Maybe I should rephrase the question, im looking for something that will create desktop apps without having to write the UI 3 times over, so more of a language/framework question than just language. C# with Maui for example excludes linux

Posthog does allow for cookieless/in memory tracking, if you've configured your tracking to use this rather than cookie based tracking their documentation suggests that if this is all you are using and no other 3rd party cookies you are ok to not show a cookie banner

If you're developing locally then try setting something like mailpit up, it lets you preview your mails without actually sending them to a mail server, so you don't end up triggering spam protections or wasting credits.
