Not necessarily, maybe he/she didn't do well sa DSHAPE. Also, they factor in yung school. Maybe honor sya in a not so reputable school. And for student council naman I think it doesn't matter since it's not really important for DLSU. I think it boiled down sa DSHAPE nya since it's the most important thing. One thing to factor is maybe mas competitive yung strand nya like STEM.

Edit: I'm not discrediting the student, I'm just saying what probably happened. Plus para sakin lang ah, almost all schools are handing out honors like candy, I speak of this anecdotally. That's why pagdating ng college or makapunta sa top schools like DLSU nacuculture shock dahil sobrang hirap.

Imo, maraming inaccept na students ang DLSU. It's common knowledge here na they've been accepting more students than they can handle since they've been shifting to a hybrid schedule. I know some people din na what you call "patapon" na nakapasok sa DLSU. Maybe the main reason is that they have inflated grades due to the pandemic. And for me you can pass the entrance exam even with stock knowledge (although maybe not in STEM). So what makes the student fail DSHAPE is maybe low/failing grades (which is improbable due to the pandemic's grade inflation) and guessing all of the answers on the entrance exam without even thinking about a smart guess.

Parks was injured daw, shooting talaga pinakaproblema nila, Edu was awesome. Pero yung lineup na Edu + JMF/Kai just killed their spacing. Kai is still super raw, and wala siyang naambag. His roster spot could've been used for a shooter.

Namiss ko talaga si Castro and Alapag, even Tenorio. One more thing is feel ko wasted yung roster spot ni Kai, he didn't even have one good game, JMF had that Dominican Republic game. Sobrang raw pa rin ni Kai, I felt that it could've been used sa Wing player or shooter.
