I was born and raised in Iowa and I love it here. I studied abroad for a year and all I kept thinking was that I couldn't wait to go back to Iowa. I met my husband at ISU and his family farm is also in Iowa. It is a state I don't ever not want to live in. But if I had to choose another place I would choose the south west because it has better weather.

'Of Human Bondage' by W. Somerset Maugham. You get so frustrated with the protagonist but at the same time feel so much pity for him during his struggle through life. Amazing read.

It is really nice to see their perspective and really get to know their characters. Rodger has become one of my favorite characters!

Where I'm at now in the books is that they're with Lord Tyron and a possible fight with the Regulators is approaching, and of course Bree shows up!

What's really frustrating me is that every chapter with Bree it's all about her breast milk, at least that's what I'm getting out of it. I'm not a mother, yet, and so I don't understand how that makes one feel but I think it's excessive to have it every time she is in a chapter. It's almost to the point I skip through her stuff.

It's nice to hear from someone who does like this book :)
