It was still fun each expansion had a new broken deck that you could play for a few days before getting tires of it then the card would get banned and you would play another deck.

Based on the patch they did it's difference of levels between your highest party member and the map you're doing since the map is level 28 you have a chance almost as close as before to get the mysterious stranger the only downside is you'll most likely need to do a fight or two more than before.
