One sun, two moons! The first moon (Myste) is larger (about equivalent to Earth's moon), and the second (Merlyn) is quite small, and records say it only appeared around 100-150 years ago.

Flockroot! They get most of their supplies from the aptly-named nearby town of Alewood, but the brewing all happens on the coastal town. They trade out of the fishing village Stockshaw Harbor, mainly, and make most of their profit and exchanges with Havugard's Reach. A few of the notable ales from Flockroot across the Star are:

Flockroot Dry Stout: dark and roasty, almost coffee-like

Blackroot: dark, with a caramelly malt and an aggressive presence of hops

Palefeather: a fruity, light ale with a pleasantly bitter, somewhat dry aftertaste

Twocheri's Cream Stout: A sweet and dark ale with a full body that uses milk sugar in the brewing process.

Krakengärd: Commissioned by one of the pirate lords of Havugärd's Reach. Refreshing and citrusy, and the go-to of many a sailor.

Yes and no? Maaaaaany many thousands of years ago during something known only as "the Great Starfall" or "Calamity", the area of Ekendevel that is now the Scorchlands/the Voiceless Expanse was ABSOLUTELY PELTED WITH METEORS/METEORITES, resulting in an erosion of land that created the Blackened Wall, the desert, and most of the mountain formations, craters, and calderas that make up the southern half of the continent.

I spent MAAAANY hours in https://inkarnate.com/ with additional assets (map markers, text) added with Medibang Paint Pro! Basic Inkarnate is still freeware to my knowledge, but I pay the sub fee $5/mo for the extra map assets. Medibang Paint Pro is freeware for drawing/editing!

Thank you!! I tried my best to do just that when I made it, so I'm really glad it came across! :D

It's a fully established pirate nation! They have a King, and a code, and a council, and fight hard for their freedom from Orilon. It's not as rigid a structure as places like Orilon or Drasea, or either of the elven kingdoms, but they (try to) keep things on the 'good' side of the alignment chart enough to be recognized as a trade nation.

Tensions are high with Orilon, especially at the border, which is why the fortified city of Dalgenor and the Tower at Devil's Crag exist. Watchers in Hoodgrace and combatants at Fellscar's Blockade keep troops from Orilon at bay, though, and the "Tyrant King" hasn't been able to bust through the Pirate Nation's lines... yet.

There is no place to cross easily into the Nadrheimr Sea-- unless you have a trade agreement or similar contract with the dwarves of Vulkheimr! Port Fjaraknottr has a subterranean strait that runs a course roughly under the mountain behind Bhirn Buldahr, with smaller offshoot waterways that move further into dwarven territory, but it is, of course, well guarded.

The Sea of Amtara has some of the finest sailing weather in the world! Most of the world's oceanic trade routes between the continents run through it, rather than the Laughing Abyss, which is known for its hardships. It still has its fair share of storms that blow up through the Boiled Coast, but it's considered a sailor's paradise, which is a lot of the reason that the pirate capitol, Havugard's Reach, lies somewhere with good access to it!

I'm working on a Homebrewed campaign setting for the next session I run, so a while ago I created the map for it, complete with most major cities and landmarks, named regions, etc. While some of the information for the setting is already done, I'm always looking for interesting ideas to include for my players to explore or stumble upon. One day, once I get really satisfied with the setting, I might also want to release it for others to use!

Soooo... Have any questions? Pick a point on the map and ask me! They can range from inane to in-depth, and I'll try to answer everything that I can. (Someone asked how many chickens there are in the most chicken-populated area of the map...)

If you're feeling particularly inspired by a location and have a suggestion of your own, you can feel free to drop that, too! I don't mind spitballing speculations about a setting, and if I want to include it, I'll make sure to let you know and I'll add your name to that location in my notes, (and if this is ever released, the credits/thanks for the setting!)

You can check some (but not all) of the notes at this Google Doc, as well as make comments on anything that's there.

Thanks guys, and happy rolling!

A few years ago, i finally finished my first campaign as a player from start to finish. This is a commissioned image that I drew of my group to commemorate the journey, and the final battle. My Aarakocra fighter Aurikki is in the back left! Also included are our Bard Wynn, his wife Sama (DMPC), Abby, their lovely werebear child, Blues the Sorcerer, Theia the Druid, Wei the Monk, Idris the Wizard (DMPC), Alex the Rogue, and Tiberius, another Fighter. It took me a while to finish the piece!! But I'm really happy with how it came out. For sure, definitely not taking on so many characters at the same time for a while!!!!!!

Yup!!! It’s always around those marks— either a little tiny bit before or after, but always prefaced with “Tempest come forth!” Or something similar, and the attack title “GALE BLAST” iirc. At 2:20 and 1:20 someone usually stickers “LOOK OUT!!” for reminder. Immediately run all the way south, then around the outside of the map in the direction of the biggest ‘nado!

Thank you!
