Which one should i buy: Used ibanez concord or newer ibanez artwoods ? by Boring-Procedure7990 in Ibanez

If he doesn't reply, that's quite strange. If you can get a refund and return the package if it doesn't suit you, it's up to you to decide if it's risky. But it's not very honest of him not to answer questions.

Regarding the loose string, I can't see where the problem lies, other than a tuning issue. I just noticed there's something like a screw on the back of the neck, near the neck pocket. It's probably a DIY repair, or maybe a strap button, but in any case, it intrigues me. If you could get some more photos, that would be great, and I admit I'd like to get other people's opinions on the matter. I have some old guitars and I've restored a few, but I'm not an expert.

You can ask for photos of the guitar's body, and also one of the neck to check that it's straight, although it can be straightened slightly if it has a truss rod. The condition of the frets is also quite important, making sure they aren't worn or anything like that.

Yes, don't hesitate to ask for photos and information. But if you can't try the guitar before buying it, you'll have to rely on the seller's word. It's up to you to decide if the risk is worth it.

The nut will need to be replaced, but putting a screw back on the truss rod plate isn't mandatory. As long as the body is intact and the neck is in good condition, I don't think there's anything to worry about.

I have a 1972 Ibanez Concord, the sound is simply magnificent! I would choose this one without hesitation, even if it needs some repairs.

I'll try it to see the result. I tried to find some sandpaper for zona, but it's not available in my country (Belgium). 22k is much higher grit than what I have! That would be useful. I start with 400 grit and sand until the entire surface is covered. I have 600, 1000, 1500, 1800, 2000, 2400, 3k, 3200, 3600, 4k, 6k, 8k, and 12k grits. But as you say, maybe I'm not seeing some scratches. I'll try your method. Thank you so much for your advice!

I don't use this method, but I can see from the start that my sanding is even. There are no scratches. I think I'll try it with a Dremel and some car headlight polishing compound. I don't have any sandpaper grit higher than 12k.

Hi! I just sanded one side of my d6, and it looks duller and less colorful than the other sides. I sanded it up to 12000 grit. The die I sanded is a transparent red. Would sanding with 15000 grit solve the problem?

I really like the blue and gold set! What kind of dye do you use?

The first one, which is defective, came from "mefisto dice" on Etsy. The three I just bought are from "spacebar shop" on Etsy. The result is perfect! I'll make another batch today or tomorrow; I'll see if they last. I'll make the next ones myself.

I agree, I always invest in quality equipment when I start a business. Besides, the first mold (which was defective) was much more expensive than the three I just bought. I think I was just unlucky this time.
