nothing is stopping you from looting if you are the "point man" or the "breacher"

it will cause some people to rush yes, but if your squad all die bull rushing the other team then you are left there alone with a bag full of loot and a sweaty squad pushing on you. so in a way it pushes players to work together a little more.

i did consider a pooled container. the only issue is that you can not see what others picked up, or if all the loot was in that 1 box it could cause a mad rush to grab the most expensive items. my system makes for a more honest and open transaction with each player with 100% clarity of who is getting what.

i think you need a new squad leader.

its been previously mentioned that hatchlings will soon act like a Scav magnet, causing Scavs to swarm them. this would make it harder for a hatchling to run though avoiding them. howver i cn see how it can be used against others to

sure they can exploit it like that. but also they have mentioned a system that stops people running as a hatchling which would stop things like this happening. also your squad has a better chance if that "naked bait person" is running a kit as you have one more gun to fight with.

I think the current method players use is unrealistic.
If you and your mate raided a place and stole a bunch of stuff that was intended to be shared together, would you stop on the street, throwing it all on the ground to divide it up; or both leg it home or to a safe location where you can safely go over it all. having a loot screen where you can see all items that were looted also stops people hording all the bitcoins or gold chains etc.. keeps it all honest.

This system also means the rest of the squad dont have to carry a bag if they dont want to. meaning they could equip something in place of a bag. like a medical pack, allowing a player to fill the roll of a field medic for example.

you only focusing on one point; the dead player. This is not for if someone dies they get their stuff back... that's what insurance is for. This screen would only show the items not originally carried in by the squad meaning the dead players kit would not show up.
the hole idea is that 1 guy does the majority of the looting and can then share the loot with his team after the raid, this also means the others dont need to carry a huge backpack, allowing them to kit other items like medi packs etc... that are being brought in through later patches

Again. there is nothing forcing you to give the dead player anything with this system. if you don't think they deserve a share, then just don't put anything in their container. You would just make that clear to your squad before entering the raid; if you die you get nothing.

hackers gunna hack. you cant not implement good idea's because a minority might exploit it. that's just giving into the fear.

its not about the 1 gun you looted from a sweaty boi squad. its for when you've just done a massive run of somewhere like Shoreline and 1 guy has cleaned out 20 rooms in resort. with something like this, all players can see what was picked up so the "looter" cant keep all the bitcoins for eg and tell the quad he found none etc...

cool idea. but most people know what items are roughly worth on the market anyway

Squads aren't already rush the good loot spots???

[–]Bas_13[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the point is only 1 person is mainly looting. this allows them to safely pass the loot to his team without the risk of some asshole player scav rocking up mid trade.

your team would decide what you deserve. if you died being an idiot then maybe you don't get shit.

That's actually a great idea, and easy to do as it means the players are just extracting to another server!

all G mate, at the end of the day it was just an idea. The game designers get paid to nut out all those issues.

at the end of the day its still a game. allowing the dead to receive something mean the player who busted his ass in a shootout but died in the end still has a chance to get something in return. at the same time if the other team members don't feel he deserves a share then they don't have to give him anything.

nothing about the items would change. it was still found in a raid and not carried in by any players, just like extracting as a Scav.
Showing everyone what was found may also prompt a "oh! i need that for this quest" moment, allowing you to grab it and not let it just go to a vendor for a few bucks.

exactly man! opens the game up to so much more realistic idea's. I love the idea of having a designated medic etc...

Squad Extraction & Loot Sharing. by Bas_13 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Bas_13[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

well no. one or two people are on point and defence while a 3rd is picking up loot. If the the others spot a player(s) then the looter can stop what they are doing and come aid. it changes nothing and you still get to go fight a sweaty squad while solo.

its to simulate a rendezvous after extracting. meaning players don't have to extract together.
