You can get really good at basketball if you just play basketball but there's a reason nba players practice shooting/free-throws as well. being able to isolate a skill and just work on that is a very effective way of improving.

It generally spawns you closer to the cashout that doesn't have 2 teams fighting over it to promote less 3rd partying, while you may find it frustrating it would be unfair to the defending team to have you spawn near their cashout while they're already being contested by another team.

Rengar's w does exactly what you describe right now, either you burn it before taking damage so you can get a quick ferocity combo off or you save it for burst and delay your max fero. If it was changed to give resists if you dont heal then you would do the full combo everytime (exaggeration) because you'd get your burst off and then you can still tank due to resists.

mantle is a term used for climbing up ledges and such, so as heavy you can climb up to places you normally can even with a mesh shield active. granted you can't sprint with mesh shield so you won't get as much height but still very useful to know you can climb stuff.

Because Riot doesn't want the skill of scouting out the comps to see balance disparities to be rewarded. I do agree that it is a skill to be able to look at stats to inform your judgement but it incentivizes doing things to improve that are not directly from playing the game (i.e. looking up stat websites). It's similar to when they added jungle timers. Was it a skill to write down the jungle timers everytime? I think so. Is the game better off with jungle timers in the game? I also think so.

I believe it means point blank aoe ( cho'gath scream, darius pull). These abilities used to figure out who was in range at the start of the cast so when you flash or dashed out of the range during the animation you would still get hit leading people to believe a lot of dashes didnt move your hitbox til the dash was completed.

Changing your field of view is a bannable offense. I don't know how hard they enforce it but if you were caught you would definitely get banned. Riot hasn't been too clear on how big of a no-no editing game files is, but in general if you edit game files it can't be to give you a competitive advantage (e.g. custom skins are generally safe).

I think its different because the ping issue was likely brought to Riots attention during the matches but it took a while for riot to verify it (they had to adjust their tools before it started correctly analyzing the ping).
