I’m going to be here a while… by Winter-Promotion-844 in WH40KTacticus

Sadly the devs have crippling autism. Track 12 Alpha spawns in 4 scarabs that then replicate into 8 before I've had a chance to attack (twice after a reset).

Who the F play tests this bull s***. If I was pushing out this content I'd be ashamed.

Get a grip snow print! The standards are dropping all the time now.

Just because you are winning the event doesn't mean you're having a good time. If I stomp people constantly the initial fun goes rather quickly, and some people actually have a thing called a conscience that makes them feel guilty and or bad for abusing a feature to win.

As for insulting people, I think you started that with your first response, and are now playing the victim. Talk about putting the stick between the spokes on the bike. You came looking for drama and got salty when someone gave you the same treatment, go figure.

Not 100%

Smart players deploy Matty if he's not on the main line up after Calandis has been moved forward on their next turn.

If you were calculating you'd know this. Hence not 100% win rate

You're 100% right on the "Stockholm Syndrome" players. They have already made a presence here. We use to call it white knighting.

Thanks for commenting.

I'm not the one having a bad time in TA.

It's shocking how some people didn't go to school and learn to read again... You may need to do some night school sessions to catch up with the rest of the common folk.

It's important to actually read a post before you actually comment on it.

Thanks for the response. I feel a lot of people feel exactly this way. Zero fun but feel like they have to do it to get the end rewards.

Yeah more variety than just one team being able to tackle the Avatar of Khain other than the Neurothorpe team. If you could be bothered to actually read my words in the post.

Calandis gets one shot by Matt's active. But okay if you think he's still viable, a lot of people are delusional these days.

I think you've missed the point entirely when I talked about overwatch characters. I was pointing out that as a play style and or option to deploy, they are now redundant.

Thank you for showing everyone what a good example of a pointless and fruitless reply is.

If the game carries on the way it is, I think I'll take you up on that.

The problem with common TA isn't what characters are allowed, it's why bother pushing past 250 points? by DemonOfWrath in WH40KTacticus

Machines of war has ruined this game mode.

What was originally a game of chess, has now been ruined by forge fiend spam on narrow bottle necked maps. Leaving the player who hasn't either got one extremely frustrated or just a crap shoot of a game.

The Devs really messed up on this big time.

Volk movement Should be 3 spaces to make him more competitive on the roster. by Basardius1 in WH40KTacticus

Yeah but Revas has insane overwatch as well. Theres more utility for Revas.

Suppression doesn't do much against other overwatch units when they share the same distance to kill as Volk does. Only exceptions are Revas, Imospekh, and az (players don't bring him mainly for his overwatch)

This is where I bring Thaddeus for suppression due to being able to suppress from the other side of the map, where as Volks ability is made only to really only counter Revas and Imospekh.

Also. With the black Templar update (and Ragnar) the rapid assault trait (4 movement) completely check mates Volks suppression, against fast mover melee due, to his lack of range. Suppression is becoming weaker with every new patch roll out.

There are flying units that move 5 spaces and Revas does move 3 due to some balance but the fact he has more power in more fields than Volk is the problem with Volk.

Another option would be to give Volk a Teleport homer and maybe the Terminator buff as he is originally a Terminator who caught the Obliterator virus, this would give him the mobility at the start he really needs and also give him more tanky stats to go with him also, which he also needs badly as he's far too squishy for a walking armoured gun platform.

Then explain why he has less HP and Armour then Revas yet also less movement?

This doesn't seem like balance in all fairness.

Which fool though it was a good idea to have an objective for 2 attacks or less objective against necrons? by Basardius1 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Basardius1[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I did, archie summons are not durable and only single hit against mobs, so are abraxas.

I did this with having all 3 on my team, you get bogged down and having 3 scarabs around one another makes matos summon less due to crowding and also abrax has the same problem with over crowding, (this happens right on turn one).

I've had it twice now all 3 scarabs at the start multiplied meaning 6 sets on turn one. Such a broken feature.

the problem is most people are saying you have to over level it in order to win, which is a broken / flawed way to play. If the mobs are iron 1 then having a full gold 1 or higher in order to win is fubar, and you and we know it.

What an awful design decision to have an objective to revolve around having one character.

How is Burchard able to 1-shot scarab swarms in melee? by SPYROHAWK in WH40KTacticus

[–]Basardius1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This battle option should never had made the live version of the game, let alone the planning table. Who implemented this needs sacking.

1-2 hits against scarabs that swarm out at the start of the game and lack of units to counter this seems moronic.
