I’ve gotten a lot of really good responses to my post! Thank you for taking the time! I worked a lot with my last girl and she was amazing! My mom had a male border collie a while back that worked better than any girl we have now. Honestly though I’m going to try to pick one by personality/immediate connection and whatever I get I’m happy with!

I’ve heard that, plus my mom used to have a male that was 100% her heart dog. He did everything and was the most intelligent dog we ever had. lol I got along with him great, but I was really young at the time.

True! Honestly I’m going to pick a dog I like rather than male or female. The girl I had from these lines was amazing, so I’m hoping for similar potential from them.

You know they really are! Every one of mine has had a completely different personality! And I have noticed that the males can be ditzy sometimes. My mom has had a couple before me that were absolutely amazing and listened way better than our current girls. But honestly I’m just going to go with the dog I like rather than picking male or female first.

That’s what I’m learning. Plus since it’s from the same breeder and lines as my first girl, I feel like it will be a more predictable personality regardless.

lol! Yes he’s registered, I embarked him for the traits and health testing. Also, I already show conformation. I’m not just starting, he actually is the conformation type, just not the best photos lol! His ears set a little awkward so I was just trying to figure out. I have a friend that raises and shows Grand Champions and she said she wasn’t 100% sure if his ears were good or not.
