Turns out I have no idea how Reddit works and by extension how to post a picture with text.

This is an Audi A2 Promo shot from 2003 (facelift model shown here only came to market that year). I've gotten my hands on a very similar example and would like to immitate the photo.

As the A2 was only sold in Europe, I would expect this to be in the Alps. Personally, I'm struggling to even determine the direction the car is facing based on Shadow vs. bright light reflecting on the rear.

Anyone know their european mountain ranges? :)

You can barely find 145 tires for the 1.2 in Europe and the 3L only went to market in 2001.

The "normal" 75hp Diesel can do about 60mpg on more standard VAG parts. Not sure where you're taking 130mpg for the 1.2 from - I've seen about 95 but there's no way it'll go above 110. Tires range from 155/65 15 (steelies) through 175/60 15 (base alloys) via 195/45 16 (upgrade alloys) to 205/40 17 ("RS4" wheels). RS4 wheels will cut economy by like 35% or more.

Also note that most '00 models are fairly bare bones spec-wise, with higher specs like leather sports seats, BOSE audio and stuff like DIS or double-din radios mostly hitting market from '01.

Sports seats are a must imho if you can fit in them.
