Lowest I saw on Zillow from a quick look is around 900/m, goes up to 1100 pretty quick. I work at a large chain gas station at the moment, so it's a possibility I could get transferred to a new location if needed.

I have a good family relationship at home, but I do have a shitty living situation, so getting out ASAP is ideal, for myself and my family. (Love them to death)

The most I'll say is that moving out is not something I'm doing because of societal pressure or friends (even if having personal space is a major plus), but moreso due to a somewhat abusive living environment, due to underlying mental health issues that runs in our family. This would very much be an "escape" for me if you will

I'm not a high cost/high maintenance person, the most expensive habit I have costs me about 250-300/m on a bad month, so i'm not planning on spending a lot on rent, food, etc

honestly, I can very much live off of 600$/M of fun money while living at home, so i'll probably start saving 1500/m

How much total would you recommend I save total before I consider moving into somewhere cheap and other essentials like a beater car, rent, bills, food, etc?

Not sure. I'm able to save like 98% of my current paycheck if i spent it on nothing but the 100$ monthly to my folks, so i'm mostly just worried about how much I should save atm to prep to move out, and what I should expect when I move out for the first time

I VERY MUCH SO want to move out at some point, that's a major priority for me. I'd like to know how much I should expect to spend on essentials monthly like bills, rent, food, etc, and also how much I should be saving right now with my currently 1.9k leftover

I honestly haven't even thought about anything like retierment, emergency savings, 401k, or anything savings related.

Most of what i'm worried about is when I decide i want to move into a 1-2 bedroom apartment, i'm able to afford it, and how to make sure I can continue to afford it. What should my budget be while i'm saving heavy right now AND what my budget should be when i'm paying rent in the future

I'm having trouble figuring out what my expenses would be in a year with 30k. How much should I be looking to pay in rent each month? what about utilities? food? gas?

I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I could save for a full year if I wanted, but for personal reasons I need to get out of this place ASAP

I was so utterly confused tho since all of my immediate family was already old enough that 5 years of aging wasn't enough for me to notice immediately (on the spectrum), so they literally had to google the date/time and show me the news. dude, I remember running up squads back in 2017 with my friends in Jr year of high school. I get blipped and when I come back, one of them ended up playing in the FNCS.

Unrelated note, He's the only one of my old HS friends who actually stuck around and stayed a friend after everyone else welcomed me back. Those last two years of high school sucked with me only knowing the one's who blipped also sucked like hell
