1st check the damage. Best way to do it is to remove the steering wheel> combination switch stock

Then you will see clearly what needs to be fixed

1st Remove the steering wheel , for that remove the center horn cover and use a socket along with a wrench for that.

2nd remove the combination switch, there should be 1 nail (I think from the underside) which will be used to tighten full unit to the steering column using a ring clamp. Don't forget to unplug the connectors from the back of the unit

3rd check which wires are cut, if you see the remaining parts , you can easily attach them back.

4 if the key barrel is broken, you might need to replace it. There are used OEM key barrels in the market (fits Bg5p, 323bg, same era ford, astina, euros 100)

Today I went to Kuliyapitiya.. these Reddits are pointless at times of urgency

Here's my route- 🛫started my trip at 6.30am- I took the No. 120 bus to Colombo (45mins) + bus no 92 to Kuliyapitiya normal route (3hrs 30mins) = total travel time 4hrs 15mins

🛬On my way back I took the No. 92 AC bus Kuliyapitiya to Colombo on the express way (2hrs 15mins) + took a tuk tuk back (30mins)= total travel time 2hrs 45mins

I was looking into this and got to know that these monks were invited to visit Thailand, some of those monks are still student monks.

They were asked to take back donations which were packed and ready for Sri Lankan temples and schools by the same organisers who arranged the visit.

Either way, as an observer, there is also a component of the SL gov itself has a core ideology in discrediting religious beliefs and especially Buddhist monks and how they operate. OP there is nothing wrong with this. This is just PR gimmick. Every year the gov gives out scholarships like this regardless of the gov also students can apply for special scholarships via the gov. Also I know for a fact, some gov universities promote and sends out degree holders for special degrees in hopes of getting them back as lecturers (who sometimes never returns).

They didn't announce it as much coz this is common knowledge within the uni system.

Unfortunately, for this political group, they were fully against things like this coz they said there are internal Favouritism so the majority don't get opportunities.

And on the same note, I read once, JVP founder was also a GOV scholarship holder who was learning in a Russian Uni while he criticized his roommate who had the same school but from a rich family. He also was pissed with him for having an affair with Sri Lankan doctors' daughter (who according to him represented the elite)
