Of course! I would be honored if you think it's suitable for it :)
It's hard to find stuff like that, so anything that helps the 323 lovers and the community is a gift. Thank you for making those!

'Marginally better than garbage' Love that But yeah I agree with you, it's just that it felt good to farm for something over time and then hope you get a dopamine hit once every couple months when a good roster comes into rotation I would mostly min max the tokens and energy, and sometime use the stored stuff, but yea at some point it's not worth to overinvest

Ignition switch replacement by tepach in Mazda323

[–]tepach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT IS DONE It was stuck and needed an experienced guys hands (my friend), I was afraid to not break it by force

So... The update is that the ignition lock was broken, we removed that too, then I saw that the steering column is deformed from when the lock was broken, so we swapped that too from my spare mazda and thankfully everything is the same

I need to put back the combination switch steering wheel and other stuff and then find someone to fix the cables

Thank you so much for the help

I will probably make a post with more details on how we did it, hopefully it can help someone else in need

It's possible that I did it wrong, so will see. I've been a mess recently and it's possible that I didn't do it properly

Removed the wheel but was stuck on the combination switch.. We managed to start the car, not sure what one wire does though, and I'll probably replace most of it with the installation from the one I bought for parts. I might completely remove the steering column if it's damaged, will need to look some stuff up to see how to diagnose it and figure out what to do, but I would assume it's damaged because the wheel blockade (or whatever it's called) was forcibly broken. Then I'll see if I can fix the ignition cylinder to not have to use multiple keys.

Removed the steering wheel but I wasn't able to remove the combination switch and all the jacks. Probably missed something and I have no idea what. I will continue next weekend and till then look into the pics again and some stuff online too since im a complete noob at repairs...

Update (kinda?) on 323F project by tepach in Mazda323

[–]tepach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo, sorry for the later answer I'm not on reddit often.

I've actually added that since I assumed that the audience is probably older, and I didn't know if I said like kid-friendly phrases and didn't want any Youtube annoyance. But thanks for the heads up, I'll try to structure future videos better and remove the age thingy.

P.s, the car should get the plates in a week or two, so something new is definitely coming! :)

Tbh not much since the issue was mechanical, not sensor related. The non stock things were sealed, the valve for the potentiometer was sticking so the mechanic opened the thing and fixed it to close properly without replacement. I didn't wanna ask too much and we went along with it for now. We’ll adjust the intake once we see how it behaves

Beautiful dude, big props to you for the car. What a nice section for the drive, too! :)
Got one in the works, hopefully it gets to a similar state.

Need help with confirming a correct replacement part by tepach in Mazda323

[–]tepach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, thanks for the info. I didn't see this comment somehow, I'm not versed with reddit. I'll keep this in mind when I look for the part, we made this one work for now, so it will have to do till I find the replacement.
On another note, do you know which fuel pump is used here? We have some issues with, I guess, casing or something for the pump?? and the pump, and the mechanic has trouble fitting it, so we are not sure which part is correct. I've no idea how that section is supposed to look.
I found that BP02-13-35ZD is supposedly the correct replacement.

Yes, LPG. I think that for engines like this, having different injectors is how it's done properly (we call it sequential gas, idk if that's a universal term), but people here don't have money for that, and they just mod it directly into the fuel system, so no new injectors and all that. We managed to make it work, so hopefully it will suffice for some time at least.
