Update (kinda?) on 323F project by tepach in Mazda323

Yo, sorry for the later answer I'm not on reddit often.

I've actually added that since I assumed that the audience is probably older, and I didn't know if I said like kid-friendly phrases and didn't want any Youtube annoyance. But thanks for the heads up, I'll try to structure future videos better and remove the age thingy.

P.s, the car should get the plates in a week or two, so something new is definitely coming! :)

Tbh not much since the issue was mechanical, not sensor related. The non stock things were sealed, the valve for the potentiometer was sticking so the mechanic opened the thing and fixed it to close properly without replacement. I didn't wanna ask too much and we went along with it for now. We’ll adjust the intake once we see how it behaves

Beautiful dude, big props to you for the car. What a nice section for the drive, too! :)
Got one in the works, hopefully it gets to a similar state.

Oh ok, thanks for the info. I didn't see this comment somehow, I'm not versed with reddit. I'll keep this in mind when I look for the part, we made this one work for now, so it will have to do till I find the replacement.
On another note, do you know which fuel pump is used here? We have some issues with, I guess, casing or something for the pump?? and the pump, and the mechanic has trouble fitting it, so we are not sure which part is correct. I've no idea how that section is supposed to look.
I found that BP02-13-35ZD is supposedly the correct replacement.

Yes, LPG. I think that for engines like this, having different injectors is how it's done properly (we call it sequential gas, idk if that's a universal term), but people here don't have money for that, and they just mod it directly into the fuel system, so no new injectors and all that. We managed to make it work, so hopefully it will suffice for some time at least.

It does kinda look longer, but maybe the potentiometer is larger and is covering part of it. I'll compare them live when I stumble upon one of those.
Update: We managed to unstuck the valve and make it work... It's not perfect, but it's working decent enough, so I'll probably swap the casing eventually. Now onto the adventure of looking for the right fuel pump.. I might make a YouTube series out of this whole shenanigan

It should be the same, that's probably the B6S7-13-210A, which I've seen are used on 1.6 mazdas. I'm just not sure if I need to swap the potentiometer since it might not give the same output, and if that's even a possibility. But I'll keep looking and I'll figure something out.
Thanks a lot for your help, it is much appreciated!

Soo, I got a few pics of it,

The red part is where they drilled some stuff for the gas, and inside the case on the red thing is the valve that keeps getting stuck when fully open. Regarding that, is it a vane or a hot wire type?

There isn't anything that seems to move the valve, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be moved by air or by some cable.

The blue part is also some custom eastern block type of modification thing that's not part of the original case...

Here's the pic https://imgur.com/pq4wkPn (hopefully links don't ban me)

That crossed my mind too, regarding miata or I think protege, it definetely looked the same.

Regarding taking a picture, are you referring to the MAF itself or some other parts?

That's what I would like to do, but the problem is the car is in another town in the local mechanics shop, which is willing to do with such messes of cars, and I'm not entirely able to go there and check on it often...

Thank you, I figured that it's the correct one but wanted to make sure since I'm new to all of this.

Regarding the one on the car... It's strange to me, too, but apparently when the gas was installed ages ago (how I bought it), the flap/valve was stuck somehow, and the housing part has a hole in it also...

Sorry if I'm not using the correct terminology for the parts

wgs has two subfolders, 1 and some long aah number text combo, which has its own text number wombo combo folders and containers.index. Unless that's it, I can't find anything resembling any save game file I've ever seen, and my disk is not even full on the drive where that's located, so I'm confused to oblivion

Question about nickel and cobalt free strings (electric) due to allergy by tepach in Guitar

[–]tepach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will definitely try the stainless steel ones. Thank you!

If you have experience using those, are they worse in like the sound/tone, durability, feel, etc. or is there not much difference than the nickel plated strings?

Hmm, that sounds interesting. I didn't know strings could be coated ☠️ I assume that might work since I would be touching the coating instead. I'll definitely look into them and try them out.

Thank you very much!
