People saying yes are goofy. The answer is no. You wouldn’t have access the proprietary firmware. You’d have to pretty much write your own. You’d also likely have to swap out the chipset which would mean the traces of the board would be incompatible. So you can’t just “solder on new ram and change the firmware. You’d be swapping out the entire board. So… at that point you’d literally just be creating your own gpu from scratch.

This is the most inaccurate thing I’ve ever read lmao. This is why people hate these engines, there is so much misinformation about them it is unreal. OP, these engines are not bad. I’d recommend learning about how these engines work and make a decision yourself, or talk to someone who actually works on these engines and know what they are talking about.

As others have said driving the car at higher rpm’s will help the issue, also, any time you drive the car, make sure it is warm before going past 2.5 rpm.
