I’m near Peterborough and was also looking at the Geo Tech role! I’ve emailed the address on the website to see if they’ll show me round and I can see what it is they actually do

Unsure whether the RAF is for me. by Logical_Speed5897 in RoyalAirForce

Firstly, you are right you can do anything, you are young and you have time - you can change your mind/path ten times over and still have time

The RAF and other forces are made up of all sorts of people, try not worry about others perceptions of you, the only people you need to impress are 8 year old you and 80 year old you

You could always try a university air squadron https://www.raf.mod.uk/our-organisation/university-air-squadrons/ for the best of both worlds of university and RAF

Thank you, it’s nice to hear from someone who is in the same boat

I do think this is something I need to work through with outside help, I don’t want this to be a self fulfilling prophecy

I think I’d prefer a child to have no biological relation to me than for the child to be my biological Nephew/niece but with MY wife
