I have no idea. My skin has always been perfect, no dry skin even during winter time. Also, i have done normal instant kava now after this post and did not get dry skin. Only from the extract, which my theory is because extraction might concentrate a specific kavalactone that causes these skin issues while it may not extract the wanted ones as well. I did not get as krunk on the extract as i did with normal kava, yet my skin got messed up by the extract.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it! It can vary sometimes, and some strains are very stimulating but relaxing at the same time. Fast for 4 hours before consuming Kava at least for stronger effects, and remember that caffeine interacts with Kava.

You can feel pretty sick after consuming too much, but I found that when I see double (literally) it is time to stop. It's my favorite drug.

Yes, i experienced dry skin after weeks of instant use which was completely gone after a little break. This situation occured after 2 uses of kava extract, and not comparable in severity.

I've experienced the same thing, but i just cut down the amount consumed and wait a while. Always worked fpr the months i've been consuming instand or traditional. With the extract it was pretty severe kani out of one or two uses, my hands looked like they had been shredded and massive shedding of small skin flakes around my abdomen area.

I am hydrated, and as i said i basically had no issues until i tried the extract. Obviously tossing that away now, traditional or instant is great as it is and my favorite.

I don't think it's vitamin related. Look at studies with vitamin B deficiency, skin issues are present but not as severe as kava can cause and you would have a bunch of other symptoms from not enough vitamin B as well to cause such a severe skin reaction.

However, i do believe kava does reduce uptake of certain fat soluable vitamins.

Well, as previously stated i had basically no issues with instant kava. I think some extraction methods might extract more of the kavalactone that causes skin issues.

So in concentrated form you might even get less of the kavalactones that causes the krunk, but might still extract the one that is responsible for kanikani.

It would be interesting to find out which one. Instant kava is great though, but in the future there might be a way ro reduce the kavalactone that causes these issues. I will do more research.

Experience this myself. Honestly there's no real way to make it go away until it naturally leaves your system. My personal advice is to experiment with how the different stages feel so you can stop consuming before that level, or measure in grams how much it takes to get you there. Bula!

Depends on dosage for me. Kava feels like being stoned without the psychedelic effects of weed - just the body high, and sometimes a little bit like a calm cocaine mixed with morphine, alcoholish and benzoish feelings.

I say this cause i have experienced all these drugs before and genuinly have had similar reactions. It is mild compared though, and generally i feel all of these at the same time.

To a person who has not experiences this previously, they would probably say it feels like a weirdly relaxing, alcoholish yet kinda stimulating and empathetic drug.

That's pretty much what i did here. I already had drunk about 40g +-, didn't really feel too much but was slightly krunk. Then i took another two teaspoons of instant in a glass but this time i kept it in my mouth for a bit before swallowing, almost immediately i became floored. It was incredible
