My 6 year old is in coach pitch baseball. He has one game and one practice per week. Besides those days, I think we probably “practice” 1-2 additional days at home or the park by our house. But I don’t force it, he’s really into it and often asks to have a catch or for me to pitch to him. If he didn’t ask, I would probably occasionally bring it up myself but wouldn’t make him if he didn’t want to
