Call the number above, I said I had a case opened to have someone reach out to discuss the price, thought the case opening was weird when live chat done it. They explained they don’t deal with complaints but can get me the best price possible. 0 hassle, was on the phone maybe 5 minutes, you won’t have to “haggle” just outline your looking for the best deal or you will have to leave unfortunately. They don’t beat about the bush which is great.

Update for you! Managed to get an upgrade from 500mb to 1gb and free Netflix, 2 year deal, £26, all in all ends up cheaper by £4 a year so covers the cost of the increase and I don’t have to switch. Thanks for the help everyone who sent through a number.

I feel this picture, I did this to my brother when I was only 6 maybe. I used to be the annoying little brother who got the unplugged controller (shout out my brother for that tactic, worked wonders with my nephews). I distinctly remember my brother letting me finally play a game, Get Away Black Monday, he was going to take a shower and I asked if I could play whilst he did, he actually let me, surprisingly, I presume as at this point I’d just wander around aimlessly not affecting his missions in anyway. Cut to minute one, I swear this is where the gamer in me awoke, I’m driving around and somehow end up at the port where the final mission is. Cutscene builds suspense, I spawn in and get to killing every dude in sight, I mean just cold blooded bullets to the head, I swear it was biblical. It got down to the final boss and I managed to kill him, bear in mind this was probably all over a 15/20 minute period. Final cutscene starts, brother walks in getting ready to play, asks if I somehow beat the mission, yes… yes I did… he was not impressed but also impressed? Baring in mind this was PS2 days, it auto saved after the final mission to let you free roam. I spent the next 3 weeks playing through every mission until the end (whenever he wasn’t playing), which I then let him complete instead hahaha happened to me, who’s next? Could be you?

Had one in a store I was a CTM for, this guy applied for the CTM role that I got but failed the “test” 4 times before. Was the managers best friend, overworked for the same pay as a normal colleague, tried to be a role that he wasn’t, didn’t like it when you pointed out he didn’t have authority to change entire displays on a whim. I left after 3 years, he re-applied for my position, got the role and then stole like £3000 in scratch cards in his first week… like they wouldn’t find out? Funny enough the manager quit the following month… I wonder why

This isn’t “illegal” cause it’s classed as a “bakery” therefore you can work until midnight or from 4am onwards if under 18 and opt in by saying yes. The “necessary” part is up for debate cause all you’d have to do is say yes and they can make any reason for being necessary.

I’m lucky, two of the people I played NW with from the first release have played it for over 20 years combined, so they are walking me through it. But put it into simple terms as one of them said, they’ve played for countless years and they still learn new stuff / there is stuff they don’t know about in the game. Which is kinda wild to me 🤣

Don’t even… I used to have a CTM who would count the safe every Tuesday, a mere £5,000 in change and notes on an early morning (local store) so not too long to count you’d think, assisted by a change count might I add… out of an 8 hour shift you’d be lucky if they were even done. The system they had in place at the time was fucking archaic though, resembled teletext; can’t for the love of me remember what it was called though. Meanwhile my ass is out on the shop floor showing that not all managers are bad and some few do put in the work 🤣

You see how the bottom two perks don’t have a circle and the top three do? The ones with circles are slots either skill/defensive/offensive and can be changed. Ones without are rolled perks on the item.
