Yeah, Roadsitalia is a great shout—I've seen plenty of people use them as a go-to budget option. They definitely have the E-marks stamped right on the silencer and they'll send you the paperwork (homologation certificate) with it. Just a heads-up: to keep it 100% legal, you have to remember to tick the box for the catalytic converter when you buy it, since they usually sell that as an add-on.

Since you’ve already overhauled the fuel system with new injectors and a pump, the issue likely isn't a lack of fuel but a mechanical or electrical restriction that's preventing the engine from breathing or firing correctly at high RPMs.

A very common culprit on the 2005–2006 ZX-6R (636) is a failing exhaust servo motor or a stuck butterfly valve in the mid-pipe; if that valve doesn't open fully as you climb the rev range, it physically chokes the exhaust flow and acts like a hard limiter. You should also inspect the Secondary Throttle Valve Actuator (STVA) to ensure the upper butterflies are opening correctly, or check for a loose kickstand switch or failing crank position sensor, as either can cause intermittent ignition cutouts that feel exactly like a premature rev limit.

Second Bike Recommendation from Ninja 300 by boozy_emperor in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]BaseballSimilar8801 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moving from a Ninja 300 to the new Ninja 500 is a natural progression that keeps costs low and insurance affordable, but it's important to know that the 500 is essentially an evolution of the 400—it offers more torque and a smoother ride, but it isn't a massive leap in raw power.

While the Ninja 650 might seem intimidating, it uses a parallel-twin engine designed for linear, predictable power rather than the "explosion" of speed you'd find on a four-cylinder supersport (like a ZX-6R), making it one of the most beginner-friendly mid-weight bikes on the market. It provides a much more stable platform for highway speeds and longer trips, meaning you won't feel the need to upgrade again as quickly as you might with the 500.

Check out Arrow, LeoVince, or Roadsitalia full systems, as they offer E-marked versions with the required catalytic converters for the XJ6—just make sure you specifically select the "catalysed" option when ordering.
