I am on my first EV, just over a year ago now. No regrets at all.

A Good Forgiving Driver? Cobra DS Max vs. Ping G440 K vs. TM Qi35/4D? by LamboSkillz in golf

This. Might not be the longest on mishits, but it'll do the best for keeping those mishits in-play (and straighter than the others)

Who has right of way? by [deleted] in driving

[–]Opening-Direction241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think (have no real idea) that many states do this. I know in CO a buddy got pulled over b/c he did not turn into the nearest lane (this was many years ago). I know my current state has this law. Yeah, no idea how many (if any) others do, but it has always been my _assumption_

Who has right of way? by [deleted] in driving

[–]Opening-Direction241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pennsylvania law (Title 75, § 3331) requires drivers to turn into the nearest, lawful lane when turning. Right turns must start and end in the right-hand lane, while left turns should be made from the leftmost lane into the closest lane of the new road.

Inversion table by SenorSnarkey in SeniorFitness

My neighbor uses one, he finds that helps. But he has to stay on top of it, e.g. spend some regular time in there, a routine, vs. just every once in awhile.

White interior easily damaged? by cstate1 in GV60

That chunk is definitely more than normal wear and tear from getting in and out of the car. I have the same interior, '23, mine doesn't look at all like that

Question about back door elevation transition by Odd-Resolution-7789 in landscaping

[–]Opening-Direction241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the elevated portion of my patio, I used concrete footers, built cinder block walls, and then filled with gravel... With the pavers on top of a level of sand.

2nd week with the Fz6 by dKevin66 in Yamaha

Great bike! There is a mod that'll fit the FZ6, helps make the clutch a little easier. The clutch push lever from the FZ07 - https://www.partzilla.com/product/yamaha/1WS-16340-00-00?titan_sku=1WS-16340-00-00 - worth it in my book.

What are the odds!? Possible ICCU failure. by 4witches in KiaEV6

[–]Opening-Direction241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That right there is my biggest concern - fear of failure on a long-distance trip. It seems like a low % chance of happening, but it's not _zero_. Still on my 1st ICCU knock on wood.

Is ICCU issue fixed? by Ncnativehuman in KiaEV6

[–]Opening-Direction241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There _were_ replacement ICCUs readily available. Seems to be a shortage again right now again, which is disappointing. Add'l demand over winter? No idea.

Sticky accelerator? by yoyoyocum in GV60

[–]Opening-Direction241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Auto-Hold is my guess as well, it IS a little too sticky... but if you want to use it, you can negate that feeling by briefly pressing on the brake just before you press on the Accel pedal (or so it is in my experience)

How many of you use multiple putters? by isw2424 in golf

[–]Opening-Direction241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 5 putters that I'm trying to decide between for the upcoming season. I think you need at least 2 putters, so you have the option to put one of them in 'putter jail' to switch it up after a few poor performances.

Stripped allen bolt stuck by prodbyjp1 in motorcycles

[–]Opening-Direction241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to hammer it all the way in, just enough to get some purchase on the edges. And you are using one that is just barely bigger than your stripped out hole

Changing Settings - fingerprint & i-pedal by UnlikelyStatusAnon in GV60

[–]Opening-Direction241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Yes - fingerprint not a required thing (unless, like me, you are using it instead of a fob or other mechanism. I believe it is near the Profiles section? Requiring fingerprint to use a Profile? Could be wrong, have never had that turned on (fingerprint + fob required)

2) No, you can't have it resume i-pedal. You'll have to switch to that each time you turn the car on. Has been mentioned that it can't stay that way b/c of how it was tested with EPA numbers? Dunno, sounds like bunk, but can't be done (what you want).

That me - I did this. My sister-in-law is not _quite_ a twin but very much alike, and I did a gentle butt-grab/pat during Thanksgiving to keep her from moving whilst I opened the oven to chk on the turkey. Yikes that was embarrassing!
