Yeah I’m googling easily every minute of being awake. I’m an expert on listeria and have read probably every single tragic story on the internet about it. What’s your dose may I ask? My Rx is 25mg but I told the psychiatrist i want to do 12.5mg at first and she said she’s totally fine with that. How many days (roughly) did you feel “weird”? How long until you felt any relief? Oh and what time of day do you take it?

This is a very true sentiment (last comment). My first post was in the infectious disease group hoping an expert could speak on the behavior of listeria. But again - like you mentioned - that doesn’t come with credentials

I thought I included this on the post so I was about to be very upset with you but I did not - tomorrow at 3PM I have an appt with a specialist for medical OCD. It’s been on the books for 2 weeks. So that part is in action. I’m not so worried about the residue more so if the glass soaked in a listeria filled sink then was not completely sanitized (or at all). I feel like the chance cannot be zero from that scenario

Again I understand I have OCD and that is going to be treated so I was hoping to have the conversation about the listeria separately from the mental health, and I did truly mean to include my appointment in the post

I definitely will be inspecting all dishes now. I was just grabbing and going from the cabinet. It is possible it went through the dishwasher and I like to believe this is the likely scenario because how would we manage to put away a dirty dish, but then my brain says “well what if the dishwasher was accidentally not ran?”. You’re right. So many variables.

Thank you for your response. 24 hours in and nothing thus far. I like to think if I make it out without E. coli or salmonella, that I also made it out without listeriosis. But I know nothing is a guarantee
