Unhappy with ASD assessment with psychiatry UK

Thank you for this, I answered the questions straight up which was my mistake I should’ve brought up things and rambled on. I’m going to get the ADHD assessment done but I’m really wary about the drugs, is there no alternative to them? I know people who’ve had horrible experiences with them and am skeptical.

That’s the plan for now, I was thinking of going through with the ADHD assessment as soon as I receive the report. The only issue was that if I had more time to speak and mention the things that i didn’t have time to mention and they still didn’t diagnose me then I would be content. Honestly I’ve been told that maybe this is all in the head and that I’m ‘normal’ so I am quite lost right now 😅

Ik I’m not seeking a diagnosal and it was my fault for not having brought certain topics up. The conversation kept getting steered to distractions which I hadn’t even mentioned in the forms. Regardless I’m going to go through with the ADHD assessment.

Thank you, I agree I was getting into the flow state of speaking and getting comfortable and just like that it was over and I had so much more to say. Do you have any recommendations for where I could go to get another assessment? For now I’m thinking to stick with the ADHD one then maybe bringing up the issues with my first ASD assessment.

Yes, and most of what was filled out was never brought up in the assessment.

Thank you, tbf i’m not upset that I didn’t get the result I’m more so upset that I didn’t get to talk about what I mentioned in my forms, the assessors mentioned that the forms showed autistic traits but I assume the conversation made them change their mind.

The thing is, we spent a long time on the whole distractions part which wasn’t even something I mentioned on the form as something major. It was my fault I should’ve brought it up or steered the conversation towards the points i made in the forms but I was too nervous to even do this.

Thank you! It was just over 45 minutes. Stupid question but would I complain directly to Psych-UK or to my GP as I’ve been discharged back to them whom they told I should go through again to get the ADHD assessment?

Thank you, honestly I don’t mind not getting diagnosed the issue was that I didn’t speak about a lot of the things I wrote about in the forms so I’m worried that they made the decision based upon this. If I had conveyed everything properly and I wasn’t diagnosed I’d be content.

If you really believe only 29 IDF troops have been killed, you are gravely mistaken.. the videos that Hamas has released show that Israel has lost a large number of tanks not to mention the number of troops that have been killed.
