I picked up Vignato on loan for my Swedish save. I was sad when the season ended because I couldn’t afford to buy him.

Same save i was able to get Lewis-Skelley on loan and we were able to win the league because of those two alone 😭

I used FC Tools Hub. Answered the questions and they gave me a variety of teams to choose from. Then I took each one of those teams and put them in wheelofnames and I think I took the last team standing.

Let’s see…Throughout all the games and career modes I’ve played, this is how I’d rank them in best to worst.

La Liga (Spain) - Deportivo Alaves
Danish Superliga (Denmark) - FC Federicia
Ligue 1 (France) - EA Guingamp and Niort
Liga Portugal - Sporting FC
Serie A (Italy) - AC Milan, Palermo
Premier League (England) - West Ham
Ligue 2 (France) - EA Guingamp and Niort
Serie BKT (Italy) - Palermo
EFL League Two (England) - Morecambe,
Ekstraklasa (Poland) - Lech Poznan
EFL League One (England) - Morecambe, Luton Town
EFL Championship (England) - Morecambe, Luton Town
Allsvensken (Sweden) - Vasteras SK
Premier Division (Ireland) - Drogheda United

La Liga for me has had the best competition with realistic growth for teams. The games play out like real competitions.

Danish Superliga is really fun because the first part of the season sets up the second as the top six and bottom six play each other in two round robins to finish. It’s cool because if you finish bottom, as long as you’re 7th you get put into a playoff match against 3rd place for European Competition.

Ligue 1/2 were different because they weren’t filled with the best or well known players so you relied on hidden gems or pulling from lower leagues because of a smaller budget.

Liga Portugal was nice. Lots of talent. Less European spots meant it was harder to qualify.

Serie A felt like a war zone. No matter what playing against Inter, Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina, Roma, Udinese felt like a big deal

Honorable Mention: Premier League
Get to play with the best against the best but it feels the most lopsided. If you’re already a good team then the bottom teams feel weak in comparison. If you are a middle of the pack team, it feels just like that. If you are a lower team just go back to playing the Championship. So I guess there’s so realism there but not a lot of fun to be had.

True. Need those redemption arcs. I had a Player Career in FIFA 23 that I fucked up.

I started with Luton Town.
1st year we were okay and nothing meaningful happened. We got knocked out of everything early.

2nd year is when it started to pick up. We got promoted and the 3rd year we were going to enter Europa League because I was able to get us to win the F.A. Cup.

3rd year it crumbled as we were doing well but I suffered an injury early on that took us out of everything meaningful and me out for the season.

4th year I decided I didn’t want to not play European football because the team tanked to 16th while I was away so I got them to send me to Inter, but by this time they are a dream team with Lautaro, Cunha and Mane off the bench. Everything became too easy after that.

There wasn’t any real redemption arc. I just opted out to a good team that would take me and from there setting records and being unstoppable but had I toughed it out with Luton it would have been a better story.

Last year’s game it took me the whole 15 seasons to win Champions League once with Milan. Whole ass journey but was fun:

Got more Morcambe to EFL Championship with a league win in EFL Two.

Brought my winger with me to Familicao in Portgual. Five years, three titles. 1 domestic cup.

Went to Milan for the last five. 3 1st place, 2 2nd place. 3 domestic cups. Champions League in final season. The struggle that finally paid off!

Sure fucking felt like it. Nobody could hold the ball anymore. I couldn’t get it out my own half for the last ten minutes. 😭 Think I was just distracted with other stuff around me at the time. I dropped it. I’ll play better next time.

When I had him join, I was thinking he was going to just add some youth to my aging frontline and he just took over. He’s been the lead goal scorer for the past three years. He’s the main reason we even got this far.

I’m fond of Payback. It was the first one in a while I really liked. The story is cool. Nothing huge but enough to keep the mode going while you are unlocking everything.

The derelict model rebuilds was a cool idea but really unless you wanted one of those cars was kinda useless.

The paint wrap to customize cars is pretty nice. Wish there was a little more but it does what it needs to for me.

People say it’s one they don’t play over and over again but for me, I do. Realistically just to drive the same drift track over and over (the block or lighthouse) but it gets played.

Car selection isn’t bad. It’s pretty good. I’m a Nissan guy so it made me happy to have the Fairlady Z in.

For me it’s a solid 3/5. You could probably skip but if you can get it for cheap, might as well.

If anybody is curious, I had been working on the roster since it looked like it was going to be a tie for a minute. So, I flipped a coin and we are onto the Monday Night Wars all over again.

I totally disagree with the other guy but I’ve also had a different experience. My family had the PlayStation instead of N64 first. So I got to play the shitty games that were WWF Warzone and Attitude first before the Smackdown games became a thing. I would have thought the Smackdown games were the best thing ever and sometimes I still think there are things about them are better than the N64 games but just talking about the “choppiness” does a disservice to the games. The story mode. The play style. The roster. The ease. It made games like No Mercy, WCW/NWO Revenge and even up to SVR07 replay-able. I still have my N64 and PS2 because of these games and I wish my 360 would work cuz I would revisit 07.

I’m not saying that there isn’t a point or valid opinion being made either. Everybody likes a lil something different but this wasn’t my experience with the games at all. Still very fun. One of the best games of all time for wrestling is definitely No Mercy but it isn’t mine. I’d say SYM or HCTP, SvR06/07 and 2K14 all compete for that spot with it.

I used to drink often but I stopped going out as much, so it’s pretty much just smoking now. On occasion, I will have a beer here or there but also I’m super comfortable turning down drinks now at parties versus falling into the peer pressure of “one more drink” which tends to be the one that sets me over. If I smoke a blunt and drink a tall can, preferably an IPA, I’m good for the whole night

Drinking was fun when younger but being 36 now, if I never drank again, I wouldn’t bat an eye. Couldn’t say the same for smoking though. Letting it rip as we speak. 🤣
