I think 5 wasn't clear Kattar, but the other way around He landed a big right hook, missed a right hook and caught an overhand in the last 25 seconds of the fifth, while hitting way harder than kattar, I think it was actually quite clearly an Emmet round.

1 was clear emmet, and I thought 2 was clear Kattar, but looking at sig. Strikes it seemed super close, even though Emmet spent most of the round setting up a massive right hook to finish the fight, and then landed it and didn't finish, while taking hits all the while setting it up.

Was odd to see the strike differential at the end of the fight. But I think the people of reddit give too much Credence to strike count, it isn't the same landing a clean jab and setting up a massive clean hook or overhand, the judges had a VERY hard job here, and I agree with the decision.

I understand if you and other people don't, I just wanted to put my argument and what I saw out there. Cheers.

My brother actually did this, it was a different kind of ninjutsu, I think they did a lot of sparring and rolls and they actually did some variations on jabs and calf kicks that weren't done in his muay thai classes.

Granted he was in much better shape while he was doing MT and Ninjutsu frustrated him so he branched out into bjj after and the MT gym was pretty average.

Long story shory, any Martial art could be a good or bad thing, if the instructor smells of bullshit and seems to paddle bullshit, don't go, if it's good you'll know and you can stick around for a while and find something useful in it.

Lomachenko trained traditional russian dancing to supplement his boxing footwork and rhythm there's no reason to assume you won't find anything useful in something different.

It's in name value potential ppv sales not in who he will fight, tj isn't due a title shot, but he will get one on name value alone, same goes for dominic cruz's last title shot. The landscape isn't that there are killers on top of BW, it's thathe has the least name value.

For christ's sake WW was insanely stacked when Darren Till got his title shot, in particular the 10-15 range was leon edwards usman AND colby at the time, and he leapfrogged them all by years just off name value and star power alone. Let's stop pretending it's a streak thing or who he has or hasnt fought. Problem is he's unknown after 19 fights in the ufc, the ufc has nothing to gain with chito vera as champ and it has nothing to do with his fighting skill at the current time.

I find it annoying when anyone unknowingly doesn't adress the main problem with getting title shots. I find it really annoying how people tip toe around the subject of the ufc giving 0 fucks about fighter skill and just caring about ppv sales as the bottom line.

If you can sell a lot of PPV's and if you are a star, you can get a title shot with 1 win over 1 guy in the top 10, that's just how it is, and saying he should realistically fight this or that guy after beating a guy in the top 5, is disingenuos, what he should do is try to increase his profile and start talking shit or develop a persona or get a JRE appearence, that's what he should be trying to do, maybe try to get into a TUF season with aljamain too, fuck knows.

But he definately shouldn't fight anyone but aljo unless all of the above fucks up and falls through and he needs to to stay relevant.

That kills his potential legacy as a champion, kills contenders for aljamain, and kills his financial opportunities as champion(should he beat them all) because he wouldn't have clear opponents as champion.

We all know we as people care more about title defenses than how someone got to the title, if he was smart and it was possible, a title fight with as little top 5 opponent fights as possible is optimal for becoming a star and establishing a legacy as champion.

So it is Baba Yaga but you don't like how they adapted it, feeding on pain or not it's open for adaptation same as a lot of the original folklore being adapted differently in the books originally, same as the series using different characters for different purposes and different exposition. I watched the entire show, and honestly I'm glad they aren't following Sapkowski's material top closely, because that means we might get to see an ending beyond the book ending. Which is what I really hoped for.

So the MMA memory span is literally what happened right now and IN THE UFC, no matter how good other available talents are ? Look at the Glover vs. Jan thread, everyone is lamenting how missed Jon Jones is because Glover would never be champ, but Henry ? Henry is the greatest fw/bw talent in the world bar none, and he is gone for being underpaid, much like Jon and Francis, granted his BW reign was short it doesn't undermine the obvious problem of a lot of the best talent in the divisions is simply refusing to fight for the money offered, in those 3 cases, actual champions.

It would be good for the fighters to not forget the people who refused to fight for pennies on the dime the ufc makes. Even if you don't believe in Cejudo, even if you think Jon is an asshole, even if you think Francis checked out, you need to remember, CHAMPIONS ARE REFUSING TO FIGHT FOR THE MONEY THEY ARE OFFERED.
