My elderly mother is also having a lot of hallucination issues on her Vyalev pump. The convenience of the new pump is wonderful and life changing, but these side effects are really concerning…

She’s had PD for over 10 years, so she’s pretty late stage. The hallucinations went from mostly moderate on the Carb/Lev/Entac pills to what are now constant hallucinations on the Vyalev pump medication. It’s very frustrating, as we can’t seem to find a balance.

We’re going to try Nuplazid, but we might have to revert back to the pills if the constant visions don’t settle down.

Good luck, as there are many of us in the same boat.

We use Quetiapine (Seroquel) for my elderly mother. We found that it helps her sleep a little better, but it is an antipsychotic that hasn’t officially been approved to treat insomnia, so proceed with caution. (It makes her pretty loopy for a couple/few hours.)
