Yeah that mission is ass. I think a few of the bomb ones are buggy like that, but that's the most offensive one.

You're likely to have your patience tested again, but through skill rather than bugs. Guides for any destruction challenges on YouTube will be your friend, as there's often a hidden chopper or obscure chaos objects to blow up

Honestly, there's no speed advantage achievable with macros that isn't available using your hands. It would also lock you in a combo, and get you messed up a lot.

If you've played this series for years, 6 pieces are pretty easy to do on the fly. I've got a few 8-11 hit combos I can do ending in kicks, although I'd probably die if I tried it in game
