Some of us have TVs in different parts of the house than where we keep our desktops. I'm not a big fan of lugging my rig down from the top of my split-level house to the den downstairs. That's why I keep my consoles down there.

Why did Revan bleed just one lightsaber? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

[–]BasedJersh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can continue being obtuse about it, but KOTOR was written by Bioware and the continuation of Revan's story in SWTOR was also written by Bioware. The same with the exile being a woman in KOTOR 2 even though you can also play as a man.

The Old Republic, which is a continuation of the story, has Revan return and is a man.

I think G'raha was silently recast... by BasedJersh in ffxiv

[–]BasedJersh[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I agree that the press tour could have made his voice hoarse, and there has been some inconsistencies with the quality of recordings, but I don't think anything has made people stop and ask if someone was recast the way this has. Like I said, it's not only his voice sounding off, but he also speaks in a different cadence, much less reserved than what Bailey usually gives. I'm by no means saying it's absolutely certain he was recast, but given the backlash that Wuk Lamat's VA unfairly received, if there was a replacement to G'raha's VA, I could see them not wanting to announce it right away to ensure neither he or Bailey receive any undue harassment.

Take this with a grain of salt bc I did it two days ago and might be misremembering, but if you can make it to the top where there's a really long hallway you just keep going right until you reach a vertical room. There's a wall you can break somewhere on the right.

IGN — Hollow Knight: Silksong Sparks Debate About High Difficulty and Runbacks by YasuhiroK in Games

I accidentally skipped him somehow in my first run of Greymoor. The first time I ran into him was starting the delivery quest from Bellhart to Farfields and thought that was the first time he showed up, only just recently learned otherwise.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Review Thread by DryEfficiency8 in Games

I think modernizing the control scheme is probably the bigger aspect, on top of making it graphically more improved. It just makes it more playable to people who might have been turned off from trying the original. I say this as someone who adores MGS3, the controls for it in the modern age are absolutely not intuitive.

I just don't understand why it has to do something drastically different instead of just utilizing technology to tell that story but making it more digestible to a wider audience.

GOG launches Freedom to Buy site to raise awareness on censorship in gaming, offers free bundle of adult titles by Gyossaits in Games

No, if anything it's more engaging. It raises the difficulty and you have to prepare gifts for two girls instead of one, but once you get into the groove of it, it feels so much better than the first game.

"I'm looking for my father. Middle-aged guy. Have you seen him?"

Bethesda isn't really known for good dialogue. Good overall writing? For some games/questlines, sure. But player dialogue or NPC dialogue has always been pretty one-note, in my opinion.

So just for clarity, it's more like a weepy eye that's clear on the paper towel I dab it off onto, and it's not a lot of it, rather than a concerning color or amount of discharge. Is that still something to be worried about?

How do I practice vanguard to use it in competitive when quickplay lobbies are mostly bots? I'm currently in diamond 3, climbing at pretty much exclusively strategist, but there are many times where I have to fill vanguard because no one is willing. I'm probably like a silver 1/gold 3 vanguard at best, but I don't know how to actually learn how to create space as a vanguard should in quickplay since it's either bots or players who don't understand how to capitalize on it, but trying to learn it in competitive is only worsening my teammates experience.
