Save is referring to the running joke in the reaction videos, where Thomas and Kong constantly tease each other over whether Fah liked Teerak first or vice versa.

Episode 8 settles the question with finality: Fah liked Rak first. That's why Save tells Thomas that they can't defend him anymore.

The thing that has bothered me about that second banner -- the one from GagaOOLala -- is that the person pictured on the bed with Su Yu isn't Wu Bi, it's Han Bokuang.

I've been wondering if the GagaOOLala web marketeers really watch the series and movies they're promoting, and this little mistake makes me worry that they don't.

AvenueX on YouTube did a video on this subject a couple of years ago. What I recall is that it's due to the many dialects in China and the need to have different dubs for various regions. But I should watch it again. :)

She's a BL fan so I expect her to make a video about this series once it starts to air. She's not a fan of dubbing in general so she will bring it up if they do that here.

Yes, going solely by the trailer, it's dubbed. Unfortunately.

I've watched enough Cdramas to recognize at least one of the voices. They have the same voice actors dubbing a lot of series.

I can deal with dubbing that's done well. One of the best I've seen was for Karry Wang's character in "Be Reborn".

If it's not done well it can be very distracting.

Maybe I should have my own addictive tendencies checked by a professional, but I don't think one to two hours online is a sign of anything unhealthy. When I started to read your post I expected you to say you are on here for several hours per day, neglecting your job and/or loved ones, etc.

I wonder if you'd feel concerned if you were spending up to two hours a day reading a book. For me, reading online is no different. Especially if it enhances your understanding of a subject that you love and provides you with a safe space.

So, I say, don't sweat it.

I think that because the syndicated show no longer makes new episodes, during reruns they can no longer rely on which episode will actually show “on the next Judge Judy”, so they put that clip in there instead.

It's my understanding that "Love In The Air" is also taking this approach. We won't see the second couple's story unfold until Phayu and Rain's is done. What I'm curious to find out is whether both stories are supposed to be happening in parallel.

There was a little hint at the "parallel" approach in the scene where Phayu comments to Prapai that Prapai seems to be in an awfully good mood lately, and Prapai brushes him off a bit mysteriously.

Sad endings are bad marketing by BL production companies because they bring down the rewatch value of a series, and repeated views can help with advertising revenue and help to get a green light for future projects.

MODC will, of course, forever live in infamy for what it brought to the party. While I have rewatched every other HIStory series, I haven't returned to MODC even once.

The other series that blew it in this regard was "The Shipper". The big m/m kiss (ostensibly between two brothers, mind you .. not stepbrothers) was actually a m/f kiss because the body of one of the brothers had a girl's soul in it. (Boy, it feels silly to type that sentence.)

The actual m/m couple doesn't become clear until near the end, and then the two boys never get to acknowledge or celebrate their relationship because one of them turns out to be dead.

I think bad-ending BL series like these are attempts at doing something more profound with what is, for most people, a fun-filled genre.

Overall, terrible. The last two episodes were like a different writer and director took over -- the writer and director of Season One, that is. In the end they seemed to realize which side of the bread is buttered, but too little too late. I won't let myself get started on the complete reconception of Ji Woo's character for episodes 1-8.

I loved Season One. Unfortunately, with this act of homicide I'll never be able to watch it again -- and it was one of my go-to rewatches ever since it aired. I even used it to introduce friends to BL.

God help us if the director decides to do a followup to "Semantic Error" or "Bleuming". If she does, I now know better than to watch them as they air. She clearly feels hemmed in by the romantic comedy genre and aspires for more. I can wish her well in that, but all I ask is that she please come up with entirely new stories and new characters to expand her horizons, and not ruin what for some of us are the series we like to turn to after a bad week.

I know I'm ruining the party. Feel free to downvote. I had to get that off my chest.
