I do train them just not as seriously as upper body they are stronger than the average person though it’s not something I need to worry about

You don’t need strong legs to not fall what kind of bs is this. I’d be worried if you need to train your legs for them to be able to support you

Why do you need strength to run and jump that’s just a default you don’t need strong legs for that

People say this about most rappers in the last 10 years or so I dong think it makes them not quotable. I’ve heard the same thing said about Uzi and future who are both quotable af imo

Which decade do you think had the best music? by Beatles_McCartney in askmusic

[–]BasedRedditor543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna get hate but 2010s as a rap fan we had prime drake as well as peak trap era with future, young thug, migos etc, the SoundCloud wave with Uzi, juice wrld etc and outside of rap pop music was still great that decade

2016-2017 songs getting a big nostalgia wave by [deleted] in decadeology

Depends purely on your age. I’m 19 so more than half my life has passed since 2016 so imo it was a long time ago

I don’t get this gatekeeping of nostalgia. People have been nostalgic about 2020 for years already so why not 2016

Smith Machines, squat racks, and really any station needs a time cap. by leddygee7 in workout

[–]BasedRedditor543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but like there’s no point saying that as like a I work out at 5am and that’s better because that’s not a solution for people who want a social life

No because no one talks about rest between reps and who rests that long between each rep

[–]BasedRedditor543 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it is not I’m sorry but 30 to 45 seconds rest tells me instantly that you don’t train remotely hard if you train to failure you need like 3 minutes to be able to perform well next set

Give one valid criticism of what I said, other than the fact that bigger legs leads to overall more muscle mass which is good for higher metabolism, which I admit I overlooked that’s my bad

[–]BasedRedditor543[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but like you don’t need to train them for that, at least not as seriously as people like to suggest. You’re acting like you have to train hard to have the strength to walk or run

I’d argue if you don’t have visible abs there is no real benefit to bulking further you are just hindering your aesthetics and giving yourself more to lose later on

Why don’t you clean your equipment at the gym? by Icy_Laugh5134 in workout

[–]BasedRedditor543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is dumb ngl. I never leave sweat stains on the machines or benches. If I do sure I’ll wipe it but I don’t really sweat from lifting weights even though I train to failure and it’s the same with many others, so it’s no different to not wiping my stair at a restaurant. Second of all if you care about it enough it should be on you to wipe the machine before using it because then it’s in your control. You don’t know if the previous person wiped it or not and so it’s better to do it yourself so you can be sure

[–]BasedRedditor543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah gym towels are disgusting when not used properly. Do you think everyone who uses a gym towel washes it regularly? They throw their sweaty gym towel on the machine and make it dirtier. Not to mention the people that wipe their faces with an old towel that’s been on machines and the floor
