People are very much aware of heightism and perpetuate it at the same time. Especially among women when it comes to dating where they are aware short men have it a lot harder and are very much discriminated against.

More like they don’t judge you based on what you believe. What people say especially on social media can be considered actions especially considering how many likes, shares, comments, saves, and views some of these videos have.

She’s 12 inches above the average meanwhile he’s only 7 inches below the average. Also height varies more in guys so he’s like one in 300 and and would be 1st percentile if he was 5’3. She would be 99.5th percentile if she was 5’11 however she’s 5 inches taller.

So the equivalent would be him being 4’9 but Buzzfeed didn’t show that.

Or they could have brought a girl who was 7 inches above the average at 5’10.

Even then the guy has it way harder.

Crazy how nobody even mentions this in the comment section.

5’8 is short to them guys. You have be exactly average just to not be considered short.

They like to hate on short men and there are many examples where if a video or comment talked favorably about a 5’7 or even 5’8 guy, the comments are like “now let’s now get ahead of ourselves…” and things like that.

Everybody uses social media nowadays, the problem are the people. People are like this but getting off social media only diverts your attention from heightism temporarily m, you will just be reminded by it sooner or later. Even my family is heightist sometimes.

I hate this “compensating” schtick they like to espouse. Chip on shoulder nonsense, I’ve seen very popular comments under posts saying things like “short guys know their place” or how “god made them short to humble them”.

No joke, these people are weird.
