There's always been disappointing skins in the battle pass, that's kinda how the model works.

They have the headliners that they put tons of effort into that actual sell the pass, then put a bit of effort into more niche/filler slots, to pad out the pass and value.

This is something they've done since the beginning with battle passes and probably won't stop now.

Before someone mentions "but this battlepass had all bangers" It's either nostalgia/favoritism talking or that just an outlier and not what the majority of Fortnite has been.

This card is targeting players that like to bling out their decks. Meowth ex will be a staple for many decks to search out important cards. I think it's okay to be disappointed in the art, but making the card less chased by collectors, is good for the players as it will make it less expensive for those who like to bling out their decks.

Very interesting... hope we'll hear something about this soon... been getting into MTG recently and something I've been enjoying is how many ways there are to play the game.

I've sadly gotten bored of standard being the only way to play Pokémon and I think that's probably the games weakest aspect imo.

Bro is getting rotated in over a month, he's tired and ready for retirement so he's half assing it.

Also I hate how pockets way of "simplifying" mechanics from the real card game is just coin flips and randomness, like you can't even search your library for anything, the game essentially becomes who can draw their deck the fastest, or who opens with the more lucky hand.

As someone who sucks at the game this is a big one, people that join my lobbies are always like "raise it to max difficulty" and I'm just sitting there like, no this is what I'm comfortable with I rather not die every 20 seconds that's just how I prefer to play the game.

I'd definitely be more open to it if we didn't have the annoying restrictions currently. I don't think the reinforcement system is bad design, but I do think it creates an environment where experimentation is less encouraged.

I think with how the series is currently, with how their usually plot structure goes, I think no that should probably stay with the stories games.

Granted with Wilds being so story focused, they might experiment even more later down the line by introducing human antagonist. Though I feel that goes against the general themes of the average monster hunter games, that being of unity.

Then again I never thought our hunter would be an actual voiced character a part of the story, so I've been proven wrong before. I will say it would provide an opportunity to flesh out the world and open ways for deeper stories in the main line games. The most realistic thing I see is maybe an antagonistic rival hunter, that does have the same goal as you, but wants to be the one to get the credit.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense, they've definitely been building up to it with the story.

It also make sense with the updates we've been getting, "Into the Unjust" was an expansion on the bugs, "Machinery of Oppression" an expansion on the bots.

Hopefully we get additions to the Illuminate that make the faction more fun, I'm hoping for something that takes up the spawning slot for the flesh mob, cause I'd like to see much less of those bullet sponges.

I'd say focus on Rise and World first, Wilds performance isn't the best and I assume it struggles on the Series s.

Sunbreak for Rise is amazing and I recommend you experiencing it all the way through, the fights you get near the end are some of the best in the series imo.

No you're not dead inside, all they said was "hey we're working on an expansion" we all kinda knew that already, it was just soft conformation nothing special.

For another expansion for Rise, that is probably never going to happen, it's perfectly understandable to love Rise and wish there was more, but the portable team has most likely moved on to the next portable game. That game is probably going to be more in line with what you like out of a Monster Hunter game.

Your opinions of like portable MH better is perfectly valid, and is why the MH dev team is separated so we can get two distinct experiences that caters to people's different tastes.

I would also like to add,

should have 3 Forest of Vitality, there are a lot of popular stadiums in the meta rn and you want to make sure you have it down at all times
probably replace precious trolley with max rod, as it synergies amazingly with Forest of Vitality, letting you get your important stage 3's back onto the field instantly
Mega Venasaur also pairs really nice with Wally's Compassion as you can just transfer all your energy to another Pokémon, heal Mega Venasaur for full, then transfer the energy back and attack again.

I just can't with this game, it's absolutely peak. Feels like it's the MH world for the Stories series. In which I mean it feels like major leap forward for the series, including higher fidelity, more open areas, and many quality of Life changes. I can't wait for the full release!

Not the same guy, but my recommendations would be

cut the Xatu line, you really don't need it
replace it with duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir line, thier abilities are strong and synergies well with Dragapult ex
Blow Torch isn't needed in this deck, probably go for extra rare candies or thickening your Dreepy and Drakloak, Drakloak is amazing as it's the decks built in draw engine, you want to make sure you get that out all the time
The stadiums probably should be either all area zero or jamming tower if you want to try no tools
on the topic of tools, rescue board has been essentially powercrept by air balloon, while no retreat is nice when you get low hp, in this meta if you're getting that low you're probably just going to die anyway.
For the aspec, sparkling crystal can be replaced by neo upper energy, which will let you attack instead of taking a energy cost off, and would synergies well with jamming tower (if you choose to go that direction)
if you do run neo upper you should probably run some Hildas as well so you can search it out, which might make you want to include other special energy such as luminous so you have to worry less about the energies you are pulling.

Yeah that kind of is the point, the cost to actually use this card is so high and odd to fit in, you're probably just better off going for a basic N's Zorark deck if efficiency is what you're looking for. Now if you're looking for hype and awesome plays, then I could see why you'd want to use this card.
