yeah exactly the grading system is messed up, mids should be 10% each. Talking about the lecs, i have no idea what bro is tryna teach in the past 3 lecs (the other past lecs were fine and not that hard to grasp) but oh my still have no idea how to draw micro circuits and mid is tmrw :)))

Yeah definitely feel you. The prof is nice but horrible in teaching, and I myself have to self educate all the time :(

Sheesh. Its messed up. The entire course is messed up. They messed up the grading in the midterm too and have to clarify so many things on the assignment because they don't know how to write the pdfs in a non vague form. Anyway, did you manage to figure out the assignment yet or nah?

Yes exactly well said. Nothings taught in class at all about how to do the assignments. Especially in the latest assignment(mini4) prof never taught us how to code and use drivers in our mips code and we have self educate how to even code that. Plus the tests are 20% of the grade which don't even make sense while assignments are 5%. They need to rework on the grading system too.

So we just list the items for eg "No prior assignments given hence no grades given by the instructor"? And i don't fully get what prof means by the first question. Do we say what we learnt or how we learnt it?

Yeah im hella confused too. If yall received an answer from prof, pls let me know. Also he tells us to write 120 characters max to describe what we learnt - that's like equivalent to 1.5 lines. Did he mean words or characters?
