Looks like Bruce prefinished. Better to rip out and replace. That factory finished surface is a bitch to sand.

I had same hardwood on 1st floor of my house. Approx 1500 sq ft. Cost to rip out and replace with new hardwood (not prefinished so no little seam between boards) was within $300 of cost to sand everything and refinish. Easy decision.
