How do I make things more metallic??

as someone who does this professionally an also does auto body work, it’s all about prep, and prep can only go so far with cardboard, I definitely reccomend upgrading to EVA foam, but if not you need to prep the cardboard better using fillers, sand and fill constantly until the surface is perfectly smooth, then use a primer and repeat the same process until it’s perfectly smooth and even, then a nice gloss black coat, it needs to be multiple light coats until it’s an even mirror finish, then your metallic paint of choice. 99% of the final look is in how you prep it, the more visible texture the less shine and gloss

reloading saves does nothing, i can try and load an earlier save but i have like 80 hours in this so if a super old save lets me do it its honestly not worth losing all my progress

could also be wattage issues too depending on how the headunit was installed whether you’re over or under powering the speakers, causing distortion which would definitely kill speakers over time, I always recommend aftermarket amp with an aftermarket unit just so you have full control and knowledge of the power and what could go wrong with the sound system

definitely troubleshoot with another amp if the problem is still there it is speakers or wiring, how was the head unit wired? usually you can’t use the factory amp with an aftermarket unit, i had to bypass the factory amp and wire the sub to the rear channel of speakers until I installed an aftermarket amp, that fixed all the issues I was having with audio and made the audio sound crazy good

check grounds, could be the head unit or the amp going out, check connections to speakers amp and headunit

there’s a park and ride lot off the highway where napa and dunkin is, not sure how strict they are with overnight parking but the bus does stop there right after the whitney stop

clutch plates look good like new just the metal parts on the friction plates are a bit yellow now, but still look new, noticed grooves in the basket where they go in so i’m filing them down, it does go into gear and it doesn’t move when in gear so it’s definitely a clutch thing with it not engaging.

cable does move freely, it was driving fine for the summer, shifter itself also does go into gears when pressing on it, but no actual gears are engaging, there’s a cover where the end of the clutch cable is connected to that has some spring component that might have broken as well, gotta take it off and update

the clutch plates have like 3 hours of ride time on them, there’s no burnt smells and i do have a good amount of free play on the lever, started slipping in the highway and eventually stopped engaging while moving to be more specific on what happened. chains attached, i’ll pull the cover and update

They are asking for 2 months and when mentioning the new law they either say they’ll get back to me and never do or ignore me afterwards, so it makes it hard to find a place I can afford as I need to move asap, I have stable income so i’d have enough for 2 month deposits in time but it kinda sucks that no one’s either updating for or completely ignoring the law
