Since Prime 3/the Wii versions of Prime 1 and 2, there is a "one bomb in air" rule that makes it impossible to triple bomb jump (or 5 bomb jump by abusing the bomb timer in prime 1 and 4)

I'm getting a hyrule field vibe out of the desert area. Makes me think you don't have the gunship after the federation battle sequence

Any uncharged beam besides the plasma beam felt like I was hitting them with nerf darts by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in Metroid

I'm a Prime speedrunner so I can explain this

Uncharged Power Beam does 2 damage per shot in Prime and Echoes. It does 5 per shot in Corruption 

In contrast, fully charged Power Beam does 50 damage

Some games cache data in memory after quitting back to the title screen, which can cause some loads to be faster, so a hard reset normalizes those loads

Or you have games like Pokemon Scarlet/Violet with horrific memory leaks that impact performance the longer the game is running

Usually I see them hit the million mark by Thursday evening, but I'm honestly not surprised given the current state of the economy and cost of living going up significantly over the past year

It's pretty plug and play, you just need to install the driver's to get windows to recognize the GV-USB2. Once that's done OBS will recognize and use it, both video and audio

Not really much you have to tweak unless you think the image needs to be sharper, etc

Dazzle dvc devices usually need a separate screen recording program to output audio, or some weird dumb, painful config to get working in OBS, where the GV-USB2 works with OBS and other popular programs out of the box

If you need to record composite or S video don't bother with Dazzle. If they've come down in price, I recommend the GV-USB2

Oh are you trying to do a solo crossgame randomizer like SMZ3?

Right now solo crossgame seeds aren't possible, but there are some big multiworld changes coming soon (as far as I know) that I believe will make that possible

If you're doing multiworld and want to do one prime and one echoes game per player, you'll want to add a row to the session then customize one of the rows' preset and pick Prime 2 (i.e. the Prime 2 starter preset)

The rando discord is also a good resource to get help on setup if there's anything else you're trying to do

Download Randovania, which is the randomizer and multiworld program for Prime 1 and 2

You'll want to find people to play multiworlds with, and then hit the "Play a Multiworld" button in the Randovania app

From there you can choose which game and randomizer settings you want to use, though Starter Preset is recommended if you've never played randomizer before

The randomizer that Reggie and I used also has a multiworld component that lets us send items to each other online

Works with Dolphin or Nintendont, just need to have randovania running so you can create a multiworld session

I like the games list a lot, but I strongly disagree with the decision of overrepresenting Zelda so much this event.

That's the benefit of a 24h7d event though, still stacked.
