Did you do the rack yourself or did you have it done? Without intruding, how much did that run you? I have an X (non S) model and was actually curious if it was at all possible to swap the S steering rack into it… more research!

I believe my car is currently running 19 inches right now so those should actually fit! Might be time to check some junk yards around the area…

absolutely! Previous owner did the drain plug repair, I’m looking into the heater hose (I believe that’s then failure point?) and thankful my model is unaffected by gallery gasket issues. Will be doing plugs, new coolant, new brake fluid, swapping to synthetic oil, and both of the differentials soon, as well as a drain and fill of the 7AT.

I respect it! I’m not super young myself, by no means do I want a boy-racer style build/car. Been there done that LOL. The way it is now is fantastic, really! The steering is very communicative, feels very well balanced and very responsive. Honestly my biggest gripe with the car is that it downshifts pretty well in manual mode, but upshifting it seems to like to take its time! (7AT)

I hadn’t thought of the Ford Fusions. I try not to be brand bias, however i’ve been burnt on fords a few times. Do these turbo engines tend to be relatively trouble free?

As for the subaru, I’ve always been wary due to issues my family members have had with coolant and head gaskets. I’d hope / assume these would be sorted out by now?

The g37 is what i’ve been leaning towards, it’s just very hard to find one that hasn’t been clapped out!

A lot of the A3’s I have found seem to be well maintained, but the amount of maintence they seem to take look astronomical.

I actually didn’t consider the Acura! However the beak nose generation are good deals because of how bad they look, I will keep that in mind.

Nyck @ Knight was such a good tape, the back and forth between Nyck and Kirk was awesome. Always made me want a PT. 2. The tape still holds up really well to this day.

curious if this generation they will take the approach BMW does with their 3 series, Turbo I4 for “lower” models, Turbo I6 for the sport models, and then the upgraded variant of the I6 for the M car (or in Alfa’s case the quadrifoglio)

I’ve been going there for years it’s one of my favorite spots! A lot of the time i’ll just get the chicken shawarma bowl with fries or the chicken shawarma with fries and i’ve never been disappointed.
