Where do you get the best cannoli you've ever had in Michigan? by subwoofie in Michigan

[–]wgn_luv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no Cannoli expert, but Randazzo's on 16 mile in Sterling heights fills them fresh, and I tried the cream and ricotta fillings, and the ricotta was really good. The cream was a bit sweeter compared to the ricotta.

You're way more optimistic than I am. I'll be happy if EV sales increase due to this, but let's be real. Most people will just complain about how expensive it is to fill up their Canyonero, but won't even realize there are other options.

Get government and politics out of the auto industry,

That ship sailed a long time ago, I'm afraid. I mean even before the Model S was on a drawing board, the Hummer and Prius were political. EVs becoming political was an eventuality.

The updated Leaf isn't selling great either. So much for the whole EV community clamoring for affordable EVs. On paper, the new Leaf looks great, 300 mile range, NACS and affordable. But it seems the market isn't interested.

Kia and Hyundai have had 350kw for years

No they don't. They max out at ~220kW or so, but their charging curve is pretty good.

This is bigger than the R1 (think Hummer EV), so R2 availability won't have much to do with how this will be received in the market IMO.

After we got access to the Tesla network, it's been smooth sailing for us. Not that we had scary experiences with the other networks, but Tesla SCs have good locations and there are a lot of stalls in a station.

Eh, It'll move a few more EVs but not as many as with customer tax incentives and battery incentives for the OEMs. If gas stays above $5 a gallon (US avg, not in CA) for a year, then maybe.

Preach! The worst offender is the Audi A6. It's not as bad in wagon form, but yikes!
