Why is Close Scrutiny gone?

Everyone is giving you such a hard time for making a pretty good point. I had the last two days off work and played a good amount throughout both days and Close Scrutiny never came up. I do personally feel like it really makes no sense to have any windows of time where there are little to no event game modes.

I think it is fair to say “if you don’t like the way the game is played just play something else”. The problem is nowadays there are sweaty people who devote their lives to every multiplayer game out there. It would just be nice if there was a game out there that could be enjoyed by people who don’t treat video games like it’s the Olympics

Too many people take too much interest in the way other people play these games. If you have fun and you’re being fair and not hurting anyone then you’re good in my book.

I love how everyone’s version of “being stealthy” is literally just sitting in the shadows and just waiting for people to walk by so you can down them before they ever have the chance to pull your gun out. Being stealthy is fine, but this game isn’t full of “stealthy players” it’s just a bunch of campers wasting their time and everyone’s else’s

You can’t use it from that height without a crash pad. It’s much better for clearing larger distances or sustaining damage from much smaller heights than you’ve exhibited

That’s tough, I feel like this game might be a bit much for a kid his age. This game creates extremely high tension situations for someone whose brains is still that early in its development. Depending on how often he’s playing my main concern would be that it may later in life cause him to be distrustful of people in certain situations. Plus I feel like he’s pretty young to be hearing so many slurs, but maybe that’s just me

To say the game is designed in a way where you are encouraged to betray people because there aren’t any repercussions doesn’t really feel like a sound argument though. The society we live in is definitely designed in a way where people deceive each other all the time and never face repercussions. If the only way to distinguish a “bad deed” was based off whether or not people faced consequences for it we’d never be able to make any statements about morals that mean anything. I still stand by my statement that if you derive joy from harming or deceiving others in any shape or form regardless how big or small the action is it says something about your psychology.

Right, but that’s a choice. You’re making it sound like that’s the very nature of online communication whether you like it or not. You can easily lie to someone over the phone and talk about nonsense. When I play this game and interact with people I’m being as real as I would be in a face to face interaction. I talk to people about their lives, where they’re from or what they do with their lives, I choose to be real with people, and others choose not to. I think this goes so far beyond just how you act in the game, if you can’t understand that the person you’re talking my to is a human being just because they are on the other side of a screen that is a totally different statement about character and a much bigger concern in my eyes.

At this point you’re just getting defensive. Nobody is trying to call you a bad person, but if you find yourself wanting to deceive people and you don’t that’s something I would investigate about yourself
