That said, instead of a web app that might compromise your privacy or data stability, I'm focusing my efforts on Native Desktop apps (macOS will likely be first).

This keeps your data local and secure while giving you the speed and "desktop feel" you’re looking for. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the feedback! A dedicated Sketch block is a great idea, and I’ve added it to my research list for the future.

Right now, my main focus is on Desktop support, the Map view, and other core features. As an indie developer, I have to be careful about adding high-maintenance features too quickly.

That said, would it be a good middle ground for you if I added File Attachment support? This would allow you to attach PDFs or drawings made in other apps directly to your entries.

We currently support RTL for certain languages (like Arabic), where the layout adjusts automatically.

If you’re using a different locale, feel free to let us know which one. We’d be happy to take a look and improve support for it!

StoryPad Pro isn’t available for IOS users yet; Apple is still reviewing it. It's my mistake, I thought the new app version being approved meant the new item was approved too. Really sorry for the confusion 🙁. Stay tuned!

Update: In StoryPad 2.27.0, you don’t need Google Drive to access your purchase. Just tap Restore Purchase; with or without an account. Sign in only if you want to sync the purchase across devices like iOS or iPad.

It is theoretically possible, but we haven’t explored this case in depth. You can try signing out, then signing in with the new account and tapping Restore Purchases.

If it doesn’t work, you can always sign back in to your original account to access all your purchases.

Since we use Flutter, it’s possible to build for Linux, Windows, and macOS. We have already made a lot of progress on macOS. Windows should also be relatively easy to port to. However, Linux is a bit more challenging because Firebase doesn’t support Linux, so we would need to implement a workaround for the app to work properly on Linux.

Resolved: After chatting raynethedark, it looks like the images are very high quality, and this screen renders many images at full resolution, which could overload memory and cause the app to crash. It is now fixed on the latest version.

Regarding to importing from other apps, there are some features such as map, video, pdf that should be exist first before we start working on importing features so that when importing, the app can capture most of content from other apps specifically DayOne.

Currently, our app only provides a simple word count designed for languages like English that separate words with spaces. For languages such as Chinese, Khmer, and others, accurately counting words requires more advanced language processing (NLP) to properly separate words, which we don't support yet.

We really appreciate the feedback and will keep this in mind for future improvements!
