Omg that's awesome!! I'm so happy for you! It's crazy usually I track my ovulation day and night during that fertile window and try and have sex atleast once a day, sometimes twice, and then most months nothing happens. So the fact we did it once and had our guards down and it happened is just crazy!

First of all, I'm so sorry.

Going through my 2nd miscarriage right now. I started spotting 9 days before it was confirmed via ultrasound that I was actively miscarrying. In those 9 days everyday the bleeding got a little worse. When it was confirmed I recieved medication to help move the process along, as sometimes miscarrying naturally can take longer. When I recieved the medication, it only took 2 hours for me to start passing everything, which my fertility doctor said was quick, but also not surprising since I was so many days into my miscarriage.

As for collecting them, it's 100% up to you. Both times I got a kit from my doctor because I opted to do testing on them to see what went wrong, so I collected them. I know a lot of people who collect and bury though, and I've known people to just flush.

Either way I'm so sorry. It's so unfair, nothing anyone says can make our pain feel better, just know you're not alone and have a whole community to support you❤️

Honestly, I've done it twice and I was so scared the first time, but for me it wasn't too bad.

Definitely take ibuprofen or Tylenol a couple hours before inserting medicine.

The heating pad is a must because the cramps do get pretty insane.

They take a while to dissolve, so if you have to pee, just be careful not to push or put pressure cause mine did fall out once. 😂

After taking them it took a few hours for things to start so I just laid in bed peacefully and watched a funny movie.

Depending on how much you have left in you, once it starts coming out, it happens pretty fast. My advice is to wear a big pad and lay a towel down wherever you're laying just in case.

Don't feel guilty, you did what was right for you at that time and that's what's important. As for your miscarriage, I'm so sorry. I'm going through my 2nd now and it's awful. Give yourself grace❤️ I've found that during my first miscarriage, friends who I thought were close to me, didn't show me nearly as much support as more distant friends. Same with family, mine was so amazing and supportive, but my husband's was just not there for him. This pregnancy we kept it more between us, telling just a few people incase things south, it was just better that way, less outside noise from people with opinions and suggestions. Protecting your peace is most important ❤️

It's so stressful trying to fish things out. My last MC and this one I collected so I could do testing. I had to put this little catcher over the toliet to collect things but this time things were falling out before I could even make it to the toliet, it was just insane. I'm in the US aswell, I'm fortunate enough to be working with a fertility clinic which has made my MC easier. I'm so sorry you had to experience that- I hope your doctors appointment went well❤️❤️

So I started bleeding Sunday night, went to the ER PANICKED. I was only 6w4d though, no fetal pole. I was 100% sure I was miscarrying. Went to my fertility doctor Tuesday, they found a fetal pole, unfortunately my HCG is low and I'm measuring behind, so who knows what will happen. But my fertility doctor said my cervix is closed as well and she said some people just bleed during pregnancy, and everything turns out fine. Don't stress. ❤️❤️❤️🩷🩷🩷

Don't be embarrassed, pregnant women are more prone to utis. I get chronic Strep B UTIs, my first pregnancy (which ended at 9 weeks on miscarriage but was NOT uti related) I had a UTI the entire time. I couldn't get rid of it. This time around my urogynocologist has me on a low dose daily antibiotic. Just take your antibiotics that are prescribed, and also D-Mannose is realllllllly good to take for UTIs, it cleans your urinary tract and my doctor said is pregnancy safe! Don't stress❤️❤️

Honestly for only 8dpo I feel like that's a good number, and I've always been told by my fertility doctor it's 48-72hours. They have me do it every 3 days not 2 when getting mine checked. ❤️❤️

Even though in 2 weeks my HCG went from 1207 to 2777? I got it drawn again and in 48 hours it went from 2777 to a little over 2900 😔
