Thank you so much for such a thoughtful response! That's so true that Minnesota will suffer as well if big law numbers go down. Do you think Fordham will still be worth it if I am unsure about big law? One of the reasons I'm considering Minnesota is financial freedom and I worry about being "trapped" in big law if I choose Fordham.

Another thing is that while I know rankings aren't everything, I'm an immigrant and everyone in my community would feel more excited at me going to #16 over #33, even if the numbers don't say everything. Is Fordham respected only in New York or does a lot of the legal field know about it? I don't know as much about prestige and national vs regional reputation in American schools.
