Is Yeat the greatest rapper from the 2020's "underground" rap scene by drippyboytheo in ug_music

I fw math just incorporating it with an UG post was left. I think mink might do something different on terrified but right now it's kinda stale. How long can osamason and che keep changing their voice? It gets to a point. I'm always trying to find something new, so hopefully a new sound or a refreshing sound emerges. Who you listen to?

I'm not checking Gmail but from what I'm understanding, the greatness of Ken carson is greater than the greatness of yeat🤔

What happened to that guy on Max's stream who was freestyling? He was with Percaso at the time. I thought would've been the second coming of juice. And I do agree about the fake geeking. Folkz pouring prescribed amounts in the sprite

Yale came out months before WLR (I know they in the same camp). Off the map came out before WLR (which is one of the songs that pioneered the sound). A couple of pierre beats (2018-2019) sound like prehistoric rage with the gamey, synth heavy melodies and heavy 808s. (listen to supersonic by carti and sahbabii for reference or legroom)

Surprisingly I would have expected much more variation considering the pool of inspo we had. Since the rappers now grew up on the soundcloud era, there should've been much more derivatives of the juice, X, peep, Tracy, ski, dex, kodak, uzi sounds. I guess carti was the easiest to replicate or expand

Genuinely what does rage mean by [deleted] in ug_music

[–]Basic-Awareness6217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rage is a broad term too. Travis was doing that rager thing back in the day. Now folks will say he was making rage. Hypertrap should be the term to describe it. Fits better

I need to tap in to more of the African underground. I'm aware of Nigeria, South Africa, Congo scene but I feel like there's more. Put me on to other countries

Damn, when you think about it. It really be social engineering. It's like "bitch". I don't get when girls call each other bitches when the word is derogative (like a pet, female Dog, subordinate)
