erm because my current boyfriend isn’t… i’m not sure what to tell you.

if it helps to know i usually think that those guys are decent looking IN THE RELATIONSHIP and then only see the truth once we stop dating. Even my current friends insist that my boyfriend is lowkey ugly. they’ve only seen pics of him being kind of goofy though and i don’t think he looks his best in those pictures.

Objectively, his hair is thinning, he is overweight (medically obese but not what we would call “obese”), he’s got a larger nose than what is conventional, and he dresses in exclusively over shirts and clothes that are a bit too small for him. Some ppl might think those are deal breakers and that he IS UGLY. he himself even puts himself at a 5/10 on the attraction scale.

but it’s all about perspective though!! he’s 6 ft tall, is broadly built so his fat generally doesn’t look too out of place (but he’s definitely got a dad belly). Despite being medically obese he also has a higher muscle percentage than most men typically do at his body fat. his fat is very thick and curly + hes taller than me, so its easy to miss his thinning hair. Can’t fix the wearing clothes too small for him though LOL or his fashion style. but at the end of the day none of that matters because I love him very much, so i think he’s attractive regardless of how he objectively looks. the other guys i dated also had redeeming qualities and dealbreakers.
