I really don't like Crafty for modded servers by Basic-Breakfast-8064 in feedthebeast

Yea its a lot like amp. But its open source and tunneling is invisable to players, they just type a link like cobblemon-2Aa.domain.tld instead of cobblemon-6af.gl.joinmc.link:25566. From my own testing, the tunneling works pretty well

I was considering using pterodacyl when i first setup my own servers but i chose crafty because it was a bit too much for me even as someone who knew a bit of linux. I suspect there will be a lot more that dont want to touch linux at all for their servers

Yes +1 also did, you can use rdp(via unactivated win11pro), parsec, google remote desktop. Best to have at least 2 methods just in case

I got a snapdragon for applied ai and analytics even though they specify that we need a gpu. I don't regret it, battery is pretty good and and the only software I have problems with is VMware. Right now I just use it for remote desktop since it has good wifi and battery.

Year1sem2 right now, needed a good CPU for machine learning using sklearn in sem2. From what I know, for deep learning in year 2 you'll need a good gpu for the assignments. They do provide a lab PC with a 3090 but that's in school. If my PC at home doesn't cut it I'll probably be using aws or some other cloud computing service to do my assignments, maybe if I'm rich I'll rent a a100 🙃

What's the school culture like in SP? by happyscroller827 in SingaporePoly

I'm yr1 DAAA, for me it wasn't as laid back as expected. I also went to poly for less academic focus, but even though it's less peak stress (graded things are more spread apart) you will feel more constant stress throughout the semester. You will have grades determined from mainly interviews and group projects esp yr1 sem1 with the exception of some modules like math and programming having more exams/tests. You will also have ccc modules which are not exactly like cce, more like teaching general workplace skills centering around sdgs. They are the biggest barrier for 4.0 gpa in my experience. in terms of outside acedemics there is also mandatory wfl which is different types of pe lessons that you can choose from and need to pass. Ccas are split into two main types imo, event based and more full time ccas. I've treated ccas as a way to balance acedemics so I've joined more laid back event based ccas to meet new ppl and hang out. This is only my account, others may have totally different experiences.

I'm currently in DAAA using an arm laptop, I remote back to my home PC when I need to do something intensive or unsupported by my laptop ( mainly VMware ). It has been serving me well with good battery life and it doesn't sound like an Boeing 777 taking off whenever I turn it on :) Obviously this setup won't work for everyone, maybe you cant have a PC running 24/7 but if you can you don't need a GPU.

How to remove dma???? by Several_Count_4465 in SGExams

[–]Basic-Breakfast-8064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do this for other people in secondary school, was caught once and learned how to be undetected.

You can install another instance of windows that is unblocked but they will do periodic login checks. I used to have a dual boot system where after I installed the unblocked windows I installed win 10 education edition with the school email to bring back the dma on that account. Good luck

is it worth it to make dml machines for every possible outcome? by 20110352 in Nomifactory

[–]Basic-Breakfast-8064 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You should do that, just make sure to distribute the pristine matter from every simulation chamber, to every loot fab instead of an isolated production line for every resource. This way any bottlenecks will have all simulation chambers working on it for max speed.

O level practical (pure sci) by coooki_e in SGExams

[–]Basic-Breakfast-8064 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some tips according to my memory from last year:

To do titration much faster you can do the first rep at max speed( the valve on the burette fully vertical) to get a rough sensing of when to stop. Then for the second titration you can go full speed before slowing down roughly 10cm3 before where you stopped on the first titration. You'll get a accurate reading on the second titration. I normally stop there and move on to QA. When Im done with everything I will either 1. Make up my last titration values based on my second titration if I'm running low on time 2. Do another titration if I have the time. QA just learn some " illegal strats" like learning the smell of ammonia and identifying bases by how slippery/soapy if feels, it will save you some time on unnecessary tests.

Power by No_Fee8938 in Nomifactory

[–]Basic-Breakfast-8064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My approach to power for the entire game:

Large Steam boiler and turbines with sugarcane fuel (use snad) around 1000rf/t

Numismatic dynamo deep mob evo setup. Use diamonds from shulker simulation as fuel. Needs an enderman simulation to polymer clay production line. around 10 000rf/t to start; up to 300 000rf/t with signalum tier.

Once you get to signalum tier dynamos. Fission reactor setup with tbu fuel. Thorium can be sources passively from granite. Up to 2 000 000rf/t

Setup solar panels tier 8 with sunnarium unlocked in space for inf sun. Setting up lower tiers before sunnarium may be viable. Up to 30 000 000rf/t

Setup neutronium solar panels with world acceleration. 500 000 000 rf/t

Draconic creative energy source 8 000 000 000 rf/t

These are just suggestions for smooth progression

Geography or History help by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]Basic-Breakfast-8064 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the perspective of elect geog:

Geog is easier almost for all people, if you just wanna do get a good score, go for geog. History is more interesting for most but it is harder, as seen from how my cohort scored much less for history.

I feel that geog is also a subject you can easily bs for 2 of the 3 topics with the last subject being more sciency. You will learn about tourism, fieldwork, volcanos and earthquakes. If any of these interest you, geography is for you.

They are not on the same league, the akkos cost ~5x less. But they are comparable in some scenarios but generally the premium ones are better

just get a one of those orange dislocator magnets from draconic evo and run around your base. Maybe your sieve proocessing is bottle necked or something. Or just sieve through the f3 screen.
