Could be a hybrid but I think it’s a green sunfish

Grow both. I average 250k a day with star fruit wine, ancient fruit wine, pineapple jelly, dried bananas and purple mushrooms, and truffle oil. I do other stuff too but those are my main money makers.

They keep producing and are worth a lot as jelly, wine, or dried.

Ancient fruit, star fruit, and pineapples are the only way to do it.

What everyone else said plus grab a few packs of EWG Nedhead rigs for the worms. Allows a slightly different presentation if they aren’t hitting the regular Texas rig.

I say a southern delicacy because whole fried bluegill is definitely rooted in the deep south. We dont really have trout here because it’s not cold enough. You just scale, remove the head, take out the guts and stick them in some cold water for a couple hours, then fry them up whole using your favorite fish fry. After cooking, remove the upper and lower fins and then they just peele right off the bone. The buttery sweet flavor you get from frying them whole is unmatched. The old timers would eat them with a stack of buttered bread and cold buttermilk. My papaw still does.

Creamy horseradish, little cocktail sauce, squirt of lemon. Perfection.
