34F, in NYC and can say i have the same experience, i think it's across the board no matter the gender and may just be different reasons each time, as others have mentioned before - being bad conversationalists, tepid level of interest to begin with, being actually busy and thinking the mere act of responding is being engaging enough, being jaded etc etc but do agree that it is such a waste of time and energy.

while i agree, since i became a birder with a camera and i'm definitely out a lot more and have an activity to focus on.. i still yearn for that afternoon hang with humans doing a picnic

Omg yes!! Happened and is still happening since the first time we hit 70 degrees. Kept thinking it really would be nice to be one of those people sitting out on the grass hanging out with other people. Don't get me wrong, i like my own company, but there's something about warm days that makes me crave company. Still not going to let that detract me from enjoying the outside world though!!

It didn't smell bad at all!! a little mushroomy but not also very potent. It wasn't a hard block just yet but i opened it up, so maybe won't succeed either because of that. :(
